I am going out to enjoy St. Patrick's Day, but, something noteworthy is important.

It is my opinion and that of others that Russia actually tried to oppress the government of the United States of America.

Somebody just yanked $105 billion dollars worth of US government bonds out of the Federal Reserve, according to the latest data from the US central bank....

The fluctuations in the market after Russia got stupid about the Crimea and investors didn't know which end was up was brought on by Russia itself. The USA had nothing to do with that. But, this? This is a deliberate attempt to oppress the decision making in the White House regarding it's opposition to Russian occupation of the Crimean peninsula.

It may mean nothing to the USA and just a blip on the radar screen, but, it is a hostile act.

It isn't a huge deal, but, the bonds were pulled from the custody of the Federal Reserve. It wasn't a rational decision based in financial stability, it was sent as a signal to the USA and the world.
