If GMC decides to continue with ownership of Opel, then they planned it from the beginning...

...lying all along the way. I do believe that is criminal in intent. After all, there is no proven performance of GMC's ambitions and absolutely NO REASON to believe there is 'sound judgement' in moving in any other direction EXCEPT the sale of Opel as dictated in 'The Agreement.'

...A decision not to sell the European business (click title to entry - thank you) would be bad news for Opel and German jobs.
Paul Newton, of IHS Global Insight, said: "GM has invested a lot of money in GM Europe, especially in research and development in Germany.
"To walk away from this for not a lot of cash (the deals offered by RHJ and Magna), obviously didn't make sense.
But the big question is where will they get the money from?
"GM has to find around $6bn - that's a large amount of money."
German unions are threatening to launch mass strikes if the decision goes against them.
GM has not commented on the reports.
