The evidence about Putin is that he is a maniacal leader of an unwilling army.

This article from the Wall Street Journal could not be more wrong. The evidence points to a president of Russia that is out of control in every aspect of his hatred. He is rolling into Ukraine without the knowledge or consent of the Russian people and/or his cabinet.

Putin has been preparing for this invasion for decades, ever since Crimea and eastern Ukraine fell victim to Putin's manipulations. They no more belong to Russia then the moon is made of cheese. There is no evil genius here looking to profit from nuclear reactor rods. The soldiers that took over Chernobyl has not a clue about how to run a nuclear power plant. The people working to maintain some semblance of order at Chernobyl are now POWs. The same is true of Zaporizhzhia.

Putin has only one thing in mind and that is to carry out his invasion to satisfy his politics and seek revenge against every post Soviet state for betraying the Soviet Union and not reconstituting it. There is little here that spells genius for the Russian economy. If anything it is the opposite.

Putin will read this artical and pat himself on the back for unknowingly being so brilliant. He will adapt the article to his ideology and call himself a genius for reading a Wall Street Journal essay. Putin is not an economic engine that powers masterfully the Russian economy. He is nothing like that. There is no evidence to support this article and the author needs to realize he is pumping sunshine up Putin's pant leg. DO YOUR RESEARCH before printing such trash as this.

An unappreciated motive (click here) for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is that Kyiv was positioning itself to break from its longtime Russian nuclear suppliers, as the U.S. was encroaching on Russia’s largest nuclear export market.

At the beginning of the conflict, Russian tanks rolled through the Chernobyl site, kicking up dust and increasing radiation levels. Eight days later, the invaders seized the six-unit nuclear power plant in the town of Zaporizhzhya, 700 miles away....

It was never real. The hope for global peace with inclusion of Russia in the highest levels of economic growth and peace was a ruse.

During the entire decade of the 2010s, Russia was double faced. One face was a country which wanted peace and economic stability and the other face that no one saw in the real world wanted to destroy everything that was no Russian.

The idea Putin is willing to turn all of Ukraine to rubble and kill any human being in reach of missiles and soldiers' tanks is only to prove how deeply Putin's hate runs of those that abandoned the Soviet Union for autonomy. He hates them. And to think they left of the EU and NATO only fills him with more hate. Every country that is a post Soviet state was supposed to remain loyal to the Soviet Union. Putin hates eveyrone.

To make it clear as to the premediation of Russia's threat, there is currently a Russian anti-satellite military apparatus (click here) orbiting Earth for one purposse and that is to destroy The West's ability fo function it's military. That was November 2021. It was launched because Putin knew he would do this to Ukraine and he hopes beyond Ukraine.

I leave Moscow angry and sad. (click here)

It feels like a passage out of darkness to light, but left behind are friends trapped in one man's tunnel vision.

Russian President Vladimir Putin isn't just destroying Ukraine, but two nations, condemning Russians to an isolation they didn't necessarily choose.

Over the past couple of months while I've been reporting from Moscow, I've met many people who have been horrified, shocked and numbed by Putin's wanton aggression. Some of them believed him when he said he wouldn't invade Ukraine. Some even knew players in the Kremlin inner circle and thought they understood the President's red lines, but now that trust is blown and they fear he has no limits at all....

This was in interesting statement from a former wife of a Russian oligarch. I believe the sanctions against them are more than appropriate.

...Zhukova, (click here) who shares two children with (oligarch) Abramovich, told the New York Post and other outlets that the transfer was part of their divorce settlement. She also condemned the “brutal and horrific invasion,” telling the New York Post: “As someone born in Russia, I unequivocally condemn these acts of war, and I stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people as well as with the millions of Russians who feel the same way.”...

The Super yachts need to auctioned and sold transferring title to the buyer and the proceeds to go to Ukrainian relief efforts.
