Cruz is a liar for his own purposes. President Obama will be meeting with dissidents.

During his two-day trip to Cuba next week, President Obama will meet with dissidents (click here) and young entrepreneurs, attend a state dinner with Cuban President Raúl Castro and even catch a baseball game, the White House announced Wednesday.


Traveling with first lady Michelle Obama and their daughters Sasha and Malia, the president will start his trip soon after landing Sunday with a walking tour of Old Havana, where they'll see historic buildings that make up the city's core. At a church there, Obama will meet with Cardinal Jaime Ortega, who helped facilitate the months-long, secret negotiations that led to the U.S. and Cuba agreeing to re-establish diplomatic relations.
On Monday, the president will have a working meeting with Castro, who will host the first family for a state dinner. White House Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes stressed that Obama will not meet with Raúl's older brother, Fidel Castro, the now ailing leader of the Cuban Revolution who stepped down as president in 2008....
