Flint cannot live forever on bottled water!

Flint not only needs it's own water authority, it needs it's own recycling business.

How many flats of water does it take to fill a bathtub?

FLINT, Mich. — As a big, blue garbage truck (click here) combs a neighborhood on Flint's east side, Arnold Brown points to a blue recycling bin outside a corner house.
"These people ... They never, never recycled," said the operations supervisor with the city.
As the city's water crisis has forced people to drink from plastic water bottles instead of from the tap, such bins have become increasingly visible. The one on Avon Street a few blocks north of I-69 is full, with some brown paper bags on top.
"This is a new culture," said Brown, who's been involved with waste removal for 20 years — most of which, curbside recycling wasn't an option....
