Pervez Musharraf is wrong about his welcome in Pakistan.

An explosion at Lal Masjid set off by the Pakistan Army

While he oversaw a determined attack against militias attempting to over throw the Pakistani government, he is safer to be outside the country than returning to it.

The Taliban has reconstituted itself. For that reason alone the former General-President Musharraf is not valued. The Taliban was attempting to set up a parallel government at Lal Masjid. What makes Musharraf believe that has changed? The Taliban will be gunning for him in retribution the moment he steps into Pakistan.

What is it with these former Pakistani leaders? Do they think they can walk on water? The Taliban want you hung, Mushy.

His economic policies were all that either. He took the monies paid by Rumsfeld for his airspace and turned into an opportunity to be the warlord of all warlords in Pakistan. So, he needs to really rethink his decision to return to a country that has no affection for him. He is not handling his life as if valuable even to himself.
