President Obama is on vacation. How is it going, Joe?

I've been thinking of taking a ride out to Asheville.  Weekend will be too crowded.

Smoking Mountains.  They are beautiful, even above the clouds.

There is also a monestery along Route 194, I think that is the road number.  The view across from the monestery is breathtaking.  There are no large trucks along that road because of all the tight twists and turns up that mountain.  It is quite a place.

From airport to Grove Park, crowds hope for a glimpse of first couple

...By 9:40 a.m., more than three hours before the Obamas were scheduled to land, residents began staking out spots in the Lowe's parking lot in Arden, which offers a good view of airport runways.
“I'll stay as long as it takes,” said Oakley resident Todd Williams, camera in hand. “This is important for our city.”
By 12:10 p.m., close to 200 people were in the parking lot. At the airport, some caught sight of the couple as they left what was being called “baby Air Force One” by some reporters.
