RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Weekend storms produced at least two tornadoes, large hail and heavy rain near the South Dakota and Wyoming border.
Twisters touched down last evening three miles east of Spearfish, South Dakota, and a few minutes later ten miles east of town.
Damage included a semi blown over on Interstate 90 and a roof torn off a trailer house near Spearfish.
Hail up to one-inch in diameter was reported in eastern Wyoming.
In South Dakota, heavy rains washed over roads and driveways, and flooded ditches, pastures and livestock yards. Some residents say they hadn't seen a downpour like it in years.
