Cindy Sheehan's son Casy died in Iraq.

He died two weeks after arriving into a country we never belonged. He went because it was the right thing for him to do. He was a soldier and obeyed his orders.

What was never questioned was the fact the Commander and Chief, George Walker Bush, was not doing the right thing. To this day he still is not doing the right thing.

Cindy Sheehan sits day after day while the president and first lady are in Crawford, Texas. She is an aggrieved mother of a man who served this country in war. She deserves the greatest respect. The people who reside on the 1583 acre 'spread' called Prairie Chapel Ranch drive past her. Not once but twice. Not even a glance in her direction. A nod. A wave. A gesture of apology.

It wouldn't be anything for a man to stop and accept the statement by Cindy Sheehan. Invite her in to have a glass of sweet tea and make peace with her peace protest.

I find it not only disrespectful but full of hate for people who feel differently about this war and the administration that conducts it.

Cindy Sheehan is making a statement in the name of her son Casey so that others will go on to live after the thrill of life is gone in a way that only American kids can.

Casey will never know 'the thrill' of a Diane

Or living life as best as they can.

In love of Casey's naiveness in living life to the point of death and longing for him to have it all back again, I dedicate this moment in time to him and the loss of him.
