This is still in the headlines? There are 8 GIs dead in Iraq. Spitzer was entrapped. It's completely obvious.

ELIOT GO BACK TO WORK !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The FBI 'sting' operation started last year (click here). They knew full well and probably before he was entertaining an adventure to DC that Eliot Spitzer was involved. As soon as the FBI knew Spitzer or any other government official was involved they should have made phone calls asking if indeed there were other investigations going on.

A classic sign of entrapment is when a person is caught at some criminal activity when they would have never entertained that possiblity before. If this prostitution ring had any inkling of investigation or possible federal authorities involvment to stop its activities, the first thing they would do would be to seek out 'insurance' to help alleviate their guilt and have 'something to offer' the feds when the bust came down. Those folks aren't stupid.

It should have been the obligation of the FBI to stop any government involvement in their operation realizing the ramifications to the outcome in prosecution. I find it highly suspicious that the FBI operation concluded shortly after Spitzer was in their sites.

I don't buy any of this. If Eliot wanted a LEGAL adventure all he had to do was to travel to Nevada and afterward take in a few casinos in Vegas. This is nonsense and he is simply NO DANGER to this country. As a matter of fact, Eliot Spitzer is so innocent in this, that he was more a danger to himself than he could ever be to the people of New York State or otherwise.

Eliot Spitzer is INNOCENT of all suspicion and all charges by the pure fact he was entrapped when he should have been 'warned' to veer off in a federal investigation.

Bush and his henchmen love playing politics at any cost. No one should be surprised. Gee, Eliot, I guess you're human ! You got a nice wife that gave you good advise all along the campaign trail and she gave you good advise this time as well. Now, don't disappoint her, go to work and make all the goals you set out to achieve happen.
