It was uncertain whether this was a female in the wild or captivity but either way the flesh throughout her face is sunken, especially near her ears. If this is a wild moose then the food supply is dwindling, which might be the case as we already know Alaska is experiencing a severe drought of which has resulted a dying tundra.
