No backsliding, please.

It is terrifying to have a powerful man target another person with thinly veiled death threats. So much has happened because of the politics of hate inspired by Trump. There has been too much hate and fear in the country. Congress persons and their spouses dead, a former Speaker’s spouse damaged, home invasions, legal citizens of this magnificent country assaulted, arrested, and detained for absolutely no other reason than their job descriptions and/or their nationality and skin color. Every Venezuelan sent to that horrible prison was innocent of any crime. They were targeted because of their ethnicity and tattoos.

If Ms. Greene wants to come to defend the USA Constitution, Bill of Rights, 29 amendments, civil rights, healthcare, decency, and the love of education that has been the cornerstone to the Middle Class, then her apology is welcome. She needs to lead and over shadow the hate and venom that exists today in our politics. The suffering of the people has to stop. The lies have to be repudiated. The truth has to protect our country and return the belief of estranged allies.

There is a lot of work to be done. The more Americans standing their ground, the stronger the resolve to protect this democracy and the decent people that call it home.

The USS Gerald Ford is where?

The most advanced aircraft carrier is in the Caribbean Sea chasing down unproven narco-terrorists while Maduro is screaming for a peace process?

WHERE IN THE HELL IS CONGRESS ?!?!?!?

Do the communists have to sink the damn boat before Republicans wise up!

Trump never actually signed them.

It was all cut and paste? Those pardons are not legal documents. This is the Trump administration? Pardons are simply an everyday occurrence to keep up with the racketeering?

Kavanaugh must recuse himself from any Epstein proceedings.

This only proves how invasive Jeffery Epstein was at all levels of Republican politics. Kavanaugh kissed the Trump ring a long time ago.

More of the same corruption.

Do I understand Nome is living in the Cosst Guard Commander’s house?

Ya had to give them a few months for all this to manifest. No surprise here. They are doing the unthinkable because no one is stopping it. If Congress is as corrupt as the administration then who is going to stop it?

Jamie Raskin know ethical violations when he sees them.

The provision was meant to pass to the eight senators gouging the USA Treasury. In passing a highly unethical provision it was one way of Trump proving elected officials can have a field day if they so desire.

There is another aspect to gouging the USA Treasury yet to be revealed. Trump recently pulled his nomination to the IRS. Why? To keep the position filled with one temporary chairperson after another? Why? Is USA Senators are this blatantly gouging the USA Treasury without any remorse for the ethical violations, what is Trump doing to the USA Treasury no one else should find out?

Human Rights

We have a problem. The International Criminal Court is being oppressed by the Trump administration. Isn’t that a bit of an oxymoron?

I want to first apologize to the affected members of the ICC for what is obviously an abuse of power. That said, there needs to be some problem solving to return function. Off hand, I can think of two methods that can be asserted to end the abuse. The first, of course, is a direct lawsuit against the administration for disabling the power of The Hague. The affected members can sue the USA and the individual members of the Trump administration responsible for these attacks on innocent people.

The OFAC is enforcing these sanctions and would have to be included in any lawsuit as conducting itself as a loyal soldier rather than a prudent government office disserning the difference between appropriate relations with allies and abuse of power.

The other thought is a rotation of judges and prosecutors through the ICC so function can return. I am thinking perhaps those employed by the ICC can take on private practice 50 percent of the time and the cases of the ICC the other 50 percent. In doing so there can be an expansion of the number of judges and prosecutors to allow for such a rotation and return of function.

I have no doubt that Trump will name everyone affiliated with any ICC judicial process for sanctions. What I don’t understand is how are hostile actions such as these sanctions even allowed by a non-member? It is my understanding the USA and Israel aren’t even members of the organization. I mean why not allow Jack the Ripper sanctions?

Unarguably the sanctions are highly immoral and flat out dangerous. There has to be a solution and movement forward of the cases before the ICC. There has to be a clear understanding through the international community these sanctions are illegal as they are without basis. International governing bodies can override hostile actions without fear of retaliation such as the sanctions placed by Trump. If fear to act is allowed what indeed is humanity faced with?

All that said, there are other methods that water down the highly unethical and immoral sanctions placed on the ICC. Independent tribunals can take place. There was a highly successful and well organized tribunal held regarding the Kent State murders of unarmed students demonstrating against the Vietnam War. I suggest that tribunal as a model to remove any proceedings against the USA or Israel out of the venue of the ICC. If there are only independent tribunals for these nonmember counties then the ICC is free to conduct its business otherwise.

If conducting independent tribunals to alleviate the burden to the ICC are organized the organizers should trouble shoot the proceedings previous to its beginning to make any Trump sanctions at least tolerable or better yet, meaningless. Individuals immune to that pressure could carry our independent proceedings.

Sanctions on Trump by member countries would be another method to end the hideousness of these circumstances. Trump seems to love tariff wars, why not sanction wars?

Once again I apologize for this mess. No reasonable person saw this coming. Reasonable people don’t imagine such assaults against decency and human rights.

The Brits

Let’s not forget the appropriate nature of the people of the UK.

BBC

I hear there was a mistake made during an editing process regarding Donald Trump.

Do not cower from this assault against free speech. Donald has his own media. Does the BBC realize how it can expose him for what he is while knowing he is a propagandist and autocrat wannabe?

I apologize if this analogy offends anyone, but, isn’t Trump’s lawsuit like the pot calling the kettle black? This could actually be a lot of fun. I mean the Brits are known for taking on subjects straight up. To that end doesn’t an editor have to know the media’s viewership and readership?

Kindly keep in mind, Trump only carries the name as president. In actuality he is a criminal and continuing racketeer crime boss.. I can see how some editing would be designed as a caution knowing the dangers that lurk in embracing his alternate reality/universe.

I don’t have a problem with the BBC. In the USA it’s justified as infotainment. Basically, lying to manipulate the market focus and effecting the emotional response. Follow?

I actually believe Trump has no right to sue, first as a political figure and the fact he is a worse propagandist than Putin. T he r BBC needs to stand it’s ground. We need you and the strength of the media’s arguments.

Tariffs?

It takes time to pay them as the taxiffs make it to the market place. They will be part of the costs of the holidays. It will take some time for the taxiffs to cone off the food Trump designated as important. The taxiffs might be off by Christmas, but, not Thanksgiving.

Off topic:

Given the severe penalty Former Prince Andrew is paying for his indulgence with the Epstein Trafficking Network, the likelihood Trump will be King Don is more and more unlikely.

Zelenskyy

The pounding Ukraine is experiencing is also to wear down the people for calls to replace the current president with an election that would open up the possibility of a Russian sympathizer. NATO needs to look at all the dynamics to a Russian assault against NATO, not just the drones.

Would a Russian sympathizer as Ukraine president serve Trump’s ambitions?

Ukraine

Russia is fighting a larger war than Ukraine.  The war theater includes NATO borders. The escalation by Russia includes drone attacks on western NATO borders. The attacks into Ukraine includes soldiers of fortune from nearly every corner of the world. Putin has no intention of ending the war until he has accomplished the return of the Soviet Union.

The efforts by NATO is to answer the drone attacks to end the incursion at their sovereign borders. It has not discouraged Russia. Article Five is in effect in NATO to increase a greater response. The response is sufficient, however, like the attacks by Russia in Ukraine they are unending.

Putin is incrementally moving against NATO. Ukraine just happens to be in the way.

NATO has been unable to establish peace processes because Russia is not interested, at all.

NATO must reassess the involvement in the region from the standpoint it is under attack.

Putin is observing an increase in armament investments in NATO. The talk is about a five year readiness. Putin also believes he has Trump on a leash while fascinated with Venezuela. Putin believes it is now or never. Any discussion by Trump of a lasting peace is driven by image making to improve his perception as a great and permanent leader in the USA. Trump’s ideology for his world vision is intractable.

Epstein’s description of Trump is voyeurism.

More than 300 Epstein survivors

ABC televised the testimony of survivors. There was the statement there were more than 300 survivors from a vast human trafficking network belonging to Jeffery Epstein.

The emotional pain exhibited by the brave women who came forward is genuine. That level of pain after all these years is instilled in them. They have intricate coping methods due to PTSD. PTSD is an indicator of rape.

They continue to cope with a trauma at a very  early sexual age when they were beginning to move from girl to woman. It is a difficult time for teens of both genders for normal growth and development. These girls were literally trapped into servitude by very clever people used to grooming them for sex at an age when they were floundering with their own identity.

The survivors are real. Their trauma is real. The trafficking was real. These girls were objects of the fantasies of wealthy, powerful men. They were dismissed as human beings when the money was paid. Somehow to the abusers their own pleasure outweighed dignity and compassion of young women with hopes for their future.

This went on globally and under the radar. More than 300 girls were used and remained a secret. There is a lot to know and if the emails reveal the truth, then the records need to be opened.

Inappropriate use of survivors

The families of survivors of sexual abuse are correct in demanding respect of the survivors. Is it not enough that we have lost Ms. Virginia Giuffre to suicide? They need to be left alone to heal and get on with their lives.

These women were at the center of the fantasies of wealthy men. Powerful men because of their wealth can protect from revealing details of the exploitation of these women who were girls at the time of their abuse.

One thing we know is that the girls were abused in several places on the globe. While there may have been abuse in one location there may not have been abuse in others. New York was Trump’s favored stomping grounds, not Maralago. While Trump has a club at the Florida resort, it was a place of business, not a pleasure palace.

I suggest if one expects to find Trump’s abuse of girls anywhere on the globe it will be Epstein’s pleasure palace in NYC.

Health Care in the USA

The Republicans are on their high horse about healthcare as a politic al strategy AGAIN. The Affordable Care Act and Patient Bill of Rights passed because of majorities of Democrats in both houses of the legislature.

Now that seven Senate Democrats and an independent Senator decided there was too much suffering of the people, the subsidies in the way of a tax credit once a year is going to end. Americans will no longer be able to afford their insurance and will be forced to make decisions no one should have to make.

Worse than the subsidies the law allows for no health insurance as a choice however there is a tax penalty to be paid when that choice is made. This part of the bill will not end just because the tax deductions (subsidies) end. It is this aspect of the law that the Republicans are expecting to work against the people making difficult decisions. The Republicans can even make life worse by increasing this penalty.

Welcome to Trump’s economic hell for Americans. The Republicans are stonewalling the discussions they promised now.

It is about control of the media.

Local parental control of these subjects at Board of Education meetings is where this belongs. Teaching subjects at universities and colleges is not a free for all. The standards are set by governing bodies interested in high standards to ensure their students are equipped for contributing to the real world. There are no subversive courses.

The entire focus on the evils of communism seems like a course that Trump should take, but, in higher education it is all part of the curriculum of politics; different types of governance around the world, etc. History teaches plenty about communism, imperialism, colonialism, and autocrats. A special curriculum in junior and high schools seems odd when history already covers the World Wars.
