Does a day go by?

How does anyone communicate the truth to Donald Trump? Vladimir Putin is not recognizing the fact that he is making it impossible to have peace. This is not President Zelenskyy’s problem. Ukraine did not invade Russia. 

President Trump needs to realize Putin is not a reliable partner in negotiations. Putin is always changing the terms. I think Trump has issues he can’t solve with a Russian president.

Vance goes to Vermont

These men know they have a bad reputation with many people in the country. That does not matter to them. Vance went to Vermont to stick a finger in Bernie’s eye. He went to state there is at least one person in MAGA that appreciates the Vermont economy. He wants more of his followers to take on Vermont to save it from socialism. 

So, the folks from Vermont should be aware they are a target of political plans by MAGA. The invaders won’t succeed. They tried it elsewhere and while the real estate increases in value because of a glut of buyers, the community values never changed.

The Vermont economy flourishes for a reason. The culture there supports that economy and the culture is as valuable as currency. 

This is where the anger laced hate comes from.

This is Trump’s modus operandi. 

“America will not put up with it much longer”…

His following wants the government to have control of the Russian outcome. He is expecting to build a strong enough support of his propaganda to stop NATO from succeeding. I don’t believe he will ever have that. America loves Europe.

But, this is Trump and what to expect. He is masterful at propaganda. He needs to realize there is no fighting in the streets in this civilized country. He expected the country to break out in violence. That hasn’t happened and no reason for a police state. He has it wrong. That level of violence does not fit the American character.

Trump is hoping for a Rodney King reaction. He wants it. He really does.

I think he looks like a gangster. But, no matter. When (consumer/taxpayer) anger accompanies hate; the hate is legitimized. It becomes intractable and very muscular.

The level of hate within the dialogues of the USA is very concerning. It is more overt than ever in the past. The willingness to be overtly hateful has a next step. Trump has no conscience.

There is no secret formula to prevent tariffs.

Donald John Trump doesn’t want to pay taxes. 

If I may.

Trump believes the obvious that the USA is an enormous economy and every country on the planet wants to bring their goods to market. That is just the beginning of the ideology with this administration.

When it comes to Canada and Mexico I sincerely think Trump is looking for leverage to take over the entire North American continent under one government. So, if he is successful in making life miserable for Canada and Mexico annexation will be easy. 

However, there is also the reality that if there were tariffs on the biggest exporters of goods to the USA (an enormous economy that other countries cannot do without) there will be no need for taxes. Basically, let the entire world pay for the allowance of their goods to a great number and willing customers. 

I think the issue of paying taxes is at the heart of any of Trump’s tariffs and HE DOES NOT CARE if Americas are struggling with inflation. He absolutely expects to be King. Absolutely.

This delusional mindset is NOT new. He has been scamming people all his life. This is more of the same. The difference this time and why he believes he is king is because of the American plutocrats (otherwise known as oligarchs) that have attached their idea of fun to his coattails and find him a willing person to expand their wealth. They don’t care about him being crazy. What their bottom line can do with Trump in the White House is their only focus.

This at the very least is corruption of government, but, in all honesty it is purely racketeering. The bottom line with plutocrats is what matters. They don’t care about the truly insane world vision Trump has. They don’t care if he turns the USA into Hilter’s dream come true. They don’t care about ethnic cleansing. They care about profits. That is not new either. Both world wars came to USA shores before the sleeping giant awoke. The Lusitania in WW I and Pearl Harbor in WW II.

So, if China is trying to understand why Trump is punitive realize this IS Trump. There is no diplomatic understanding. Simply greed and nothing more.

By every measure…

…Ukraine is doing well. Not to diminish the losses, but, the military is quite successful. There is a problem at times in holding their achievements. The USA had a similar problem in Iraq. The Late Senator McCain called it “Wack-a-Mole.” It is that sort of thing. But, when looking at the history of the violence over the past three years, Ukrainians and their military have done well.

The Ukrainian border with Eastern Europe is quite fluid. If looking at statistics there are frequent movements of people crossing that border regularly. It lends itself to the idea that refugees are not permanent. In other words people under some sort of insecurity for their land, homes, or apartments move readily back and forth as missiles and drones become an issue.

So, to honestly assess Ukraine’s circumstances going forward, it isn’t catastrophic. The people move away from Russian terror and return to rebuild and assume their lives again. Basically, I think Russia’s mischief is more an annoyance to highly resilient people.

In many ways the Ukrainians are a magnificent example of indomitable virtue. They sincerely love their country and the lives they enjoy there. I am sure the evidence of so many churches and religious buildings are a factor in the resilience Ukrainians exhibit.

It is correct to support them. They are magnificent people.

There was also a report about Ukrainian prison facilities for captured Russians. The Russians were happy there. They were saying, albeit as a POW, life in the prison was better than life back in Russia. When decisions are made about loyalty to democracy or communism, there is no doubt, the evidence points to a higher quality of life within democracy.

No surprise.

Europe has a far different and longer history than the United States. They were going to take leadership and their national security seriously. Their increased involvement with Ukraine is only a natural place for Europe. 

Israel was never going beyond the first step of the ceasefire. In order to enter the second phase Israel would have to develop its diplomacy and cooperation with Abbas as a trustworthy custodian of a burgeoning peace. Even that primitive level of trust is proving too much of a burden for the war cabinet. Netanyahu came to the USA to be certain 

Trump’s hatred for any form of humanity was intractable.
