Life deserves respect and the loss of it, more so. That is why I do this. I realized the peril every life can find themselves with a very hot planet. I could not look the other way. This event in the USA today is no different.

There are at least 103 victims from the violence a military style weapon caused. There are families and children that are suffering right this minute because of their loved ones.

The community that was assaulted is still yet in more pain simply because they were finally achieving real citizen status in the USA. They did nothing to bring this violence upon them.

Due to the rather stark realities before the country and a global community that weeps with us, it would be best to postpone any entries tonight other than this one.

I respect life. I wish everyone else did as well. The weapons available within the borders of the USA does not respect life. They weren't designed to respect life.

The next three and a half hours will be in silence in respect for the pain the USA is feeling tonight.

These were the high temperatures in the USA today.

There is a lot of water vapor moving tonight, too. (click here for 12 hour loop - thank you)

This is wonderful. I am beginning to believe the Iraqis have a military they can count on.

Baghdad/Erbil, Iraq, June 12 (Reuters) - The Iraqi army (click here) said on Sunday it had secured the first safe exit route for civilians to leave Islamic State's besieged stronghold Falluja, and a Norwegian aid group said thousands of people had already used it to flee in the first day it was open.
While it pressed on with its offensive in Falluja, the army also launched a fresh advance in the direction of the northern city of Mosul, Islamic State's de facto Iraqi capital, under cover of airstrikes from a U.S.-led coalition.
The assaults by the Iraqi army are taking place at the same time as advances against Islamic State by U.S.-backed fighters and Russian-backed Syrian government forces in Syria, at the opposite end of the militants' self-proclaimed caliphate.
Fighting on a range of fronts in both Iraq and Syria in recent weeks amounts to some of the biggest pressure on the militants since they swept across much of Iraq and Syria in 2014 and declared their rule over all Muslims from territory that is home to millions of people....

This is what I call intelligence that works for the people of the USA.

Are the attacks related? I would be looking inside the USA borders to determine if there is a loosely knitted internet affiliation.

I don't expect an answer to this, but, how many FBI agents are from the LGBTQ community?

I would consider both these attacks from hate group(s) in the USA. There has to be a vigilance in the USA of this community to maintain their safety. No different than special agents for drug investigations, there needs to be similar law enforcement focus dedicated to the safety of these folks. I am not from within this community, but, I dearly wonderful people who are that could be gathering at clubs to enjoy the company of others.

One time violence is a fluke, twice is a movement. I don't believe in coincidence. Cities should have 800 hot lines for people to call with any information of potential violence. Perhaps only one hotline is needed for everyone, but, perhaps not.

There is nothing wrong with local law enforcement calling on the FBI if there is suspicious circumstances.

Chalk it up to being an election year. People are more focused on this community.

Authorities in Santa Monica (click here) found possible explosives as well as a cache of weapons and ammunition Sunday in the car of a man who told them he planned to look for a friend at the L.A. Pride festival in West Hollywood, a law enforcement source said.
Santa Monica Police Chief Jacqueline Seabrooks said on Twitter that the suspect told one of her officers after he was arrested that he wanted “to harm Gay Pride event.” But she did not provide any details, and officials said they are still trying to sort out his motives.
Seabrooks identified him as James Howell of Indiana. A Facebook page for someone with the same name in Indiana shows a young man posing next to a white Acura similar to the one found in Santa Monica with the weapons and explosives.
Federal and local law enforcement decided against canceling the annual parade, which went forward Sunday morning under tightened security. Investigators are now trying to piece together what happened but said they don’t believe there is any connection between the incident and the massacre at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., that killed at least 50 people overnight....

Here is a fact. No one can dispute this. If there were good men with guns to end or prevent the beginning of a gunman carrying out mass murder, the statistics would be there and there isn't any because there never is a good guy with a gun to end the attack UNLESS it is the police officers arriving on the scene.

When a society makes it's decision about public safety, it should always be based in fact. The idea there will be a good guy with a gun at every mass shooting is nonsense.

Every mass shooter was prepared for that from Colorado's many shootings to Florida today. The gunman doing the killing is always armed to a maximum he can handle. He knows the police will respond and then he will be out numbered. So, the idea one good guy with a gun will be in every crowd to be sure there are no dead people is ridiculous to consider. These murderers would easily take down anyone else with a gun. The element of surprise is enough to catch the best armed defense off guard and unable to respond that quickly with that level of fire power.

We witnessed the preparedness of these gunmen in San Bernadino when the couple actually thought they would be able to defeat the police response. It didn't happen.

This was the van when the police ended the violence. No patron of a club, employee of the state, child eager to learn can carry out this level of address of these multi-casualty murderers. It is not possible.

It will never happen. Realizing that, the USA needs gun laws that reduce the causalities and ultimately end them.

The USA needs gun laws.

The USA needs gun laws.

The USA needs gun laws.

Either legislators want to protect their constituents or they want to pander to their cronies. Which is it?

Now you'll excuse me, but, I don't feel like be deceived for the rest of the day. I play with game called "World of Warcraft." It is an animation and not real life looking characters. Yes, I am pacifist. I love that silly game.

The gunman was not crazy. Not if he willfully killed 50 people.

Here we go, he is mentally unstable according to a wife that was beaten. The wife had an excuse to stay with her husband and be beaten by considering him crazy.

Supposedly there is a 911 operator that received a call from the gunman stating he pledges himself to Daesh. He did that to cover his soul. He had no intention of doing this in the long view, so he had to pledge himself to the holy fight in order for his departed soul to go to his religious destination.

This man is not crazy. His wife might be for staying with an abuser, but, there are other stories about women that sustain beatings as a wife.

The gunman armed himself with weapons sold in American gun stores. Got that? He is not a crazy man. It is amazing to me how everyone is willing to protect the gun lobby by stating the gunman is crazy. This man is not crazy and he practices 'emergency soul departures.'

Ah, the FBI has a file as of three years ago. Why does this continue to sound like a broken record?

How is Clapper doing these days? I simply love the fact the American people spend all kinds of money to protect from gun violence and it doesn't work and we keep spending money on Homeland Security.

l. Crazy

2. Muslim

3. The attack was not detectable.

That is the political speak, ie: Rep. Peter King. Everyone should re-elect Peter King so the attacks continue to be from crazy Muslims with an FBI record yet undetectable.

Oh, his wife is now an ex-wife. That was quick. So, you see, the woman is sane and it is the man that is insane.

There are many questions not answerable by media, but, count on the fact he was a crazy Muslim.

THIS IS A HATE CRIME. Nothing more. This is the danger in society. There are free lancing killers justifying THEIR hate by religious precepts spoken by international criminals. That is all this is. There was no outreach from Daesh demanding he act on his fears and hate of an entire community in the USA.

The USA has too many guns on the street.

The gunman was not supplied with weapons from Daesh. He went to his neighborhood gun store and purchased the guns and ammunition he used. He had a LEGAL gun purchase and passed all the crazy tests. The USA is arming their own killers with incredible fire power that can take the lives of many in a matter of seconds.

That is the story no corporate news organization will speak about. It serves their political purpose. The dialogue is always THE SAME. Crazy. This man was crazy. No he wasn't.

President Obama always looks gaunt when he speaks following the violent event. These attacks and deaths really do effect him. He is an incredible leader.
The killing in Florida is looking like a hate crime.

When the police involved don't know all the information it is a safe bet the media is lying.

Did I hear that right? I am sure I didn't hear that right.

50 dead and 50 wounded, that can't be correct. The police are still be confusing. It sounded as though there are fifty dead and fifty-three in the hospital. Many are critically ill. The local blood banks can receive blood donations. That was a smart question

Faith leader calling for assistance of any people, including the Muslim faiths, to assist in building the intelligence regarding this killing of fifty people.

Orlando is a fun city as well as an American city facing issues of violence. I am sure the parks in the Orlando have their own security. I would guess they are probably adding more for the next few days. People with children should feel safe and ACTUALLY are safe. There is no terror connection identified by authorities involved with this tragedy.

My sincere sympathies to the families. Hopefully they will be at the bedside of their family members soon.

I think having a Muslim clergy on the site to bring a full understanding regarding the involvement of the faithful to assist with any information to the authorities. I think that was very, very smart. Having a clergy at such an incidents provides several opportunities, ministering to any of their faithful at the hospital and blessing the dead.

There is a chance with fifty people dead and fifty-three injured, there were Muslims in the club. Muslims can be a member of the LGBTQ community. This community longs for faith no different than others.

The family of the shooter would know if he was attached to a broader network. If such knowledge existed in the family and it was not reported the family would be part of the violence that resulted and could be held for crimes.

Looking the other way is implicated in such plots of violence. I am sure the community, which appears to be numerous, does not want their young men and women traveling to Syria or other areas of the world equally as dangerous.

This particular hate crime if motivated by hate for the LGBTQ community is religious based, but, it is not a terrorist event. Many religions do not consider this community as part of their congregation regardless of the attendance they may practice. So, the hate came from somewhere and it is based in people ostracized from practicing the religion they long to be a part of. The idea this was a Muslim man that carried out the killing doesn't mean other religions might spin such hate. However, murder is forbidden by the same religions that are biased against some people.

The difference in the number of victims in Orlando may be due to the fact the gunman was trained in weapons use due to his job. Not all the people involved in mass murders were trained to handle the guns they used. The other killers might have been practiced, but, there is a very big difference between practicing and training.

The media simply can't resist the propaganda of speculation. They talk out of both sides of their mouths. They condemn the political dialogue of inflammatory words, but, it is okay for the media to speculate for ratings. They don't care about preventing ill will and violence, it is just that they are not conducting the discussion.

Somehow the discussion about violence by the media is magical and will end it or contain it. NOT.

Libya is not willing to tolerate anarchy.

At the time of the Gaddafi attacks, CNN was stating there were black al Qaeda flags hanging off the buildings in east Libya. If Gaddafi was providing safe haven for al Qaeda, at least the current government won't tolerate such men in the country. Evidently, Libya is moving forward with a stronger governance. That is good news.

The region is gaining stability if this is the governance. The Arab Spring is resulting in stable influences in most of north Africa.

Forces loyal to the unity government in Tripoli fought street battles with IS to take Sirte's port back.

Libyan forces (click here) say they have retaken control of the port in the city of Sirte, after fierce fighting with militants from so-called Islamic State.
Sirte is the most significant IS stronghold outside Iraq and Syria.
Air and missile strikes have hit IS positions this week, officials said. A spokesman said troops were moving closer to the city centre.
The forces, aligned to the UN-backed unity government in Tripoli, began the battle to retake the city last month.
A spokesman, Ahmed Hadia, told the BBC IS forces had weakened, but "not totally broken down".
He said the troops were encircling part of the city....

Let's hope most of the people attending the Olympics aren't interested in the beaches.

The long list of water-borne bacteria (click here) issues that have plagued the 2016 Summer Olympics from the moment Rio pledged to clean its waterways in 2009 may be growing with the addition of super bacteria.
According to two unpublished studies obtained by Reuters, antibiotic-resistant super bacteria has been found in the water of several of Rio's most popular beaches.
The findings would piggyback onto reports from ESPN's "Outside the Lines" and the Associated Press that found Rio's local waterways to be contaminated by sewage and boasting high levels of virus and bacteria....

Gee, if here was only a good guy with an assault rifle this could have been avoided.

About 20 people were killed and at least 42 people were wounded (click here) when a gunman armed with an assault rifle and a handgun opened fire inside a downtown Orlando nightclub about 2 a.m., Police Chief John Mina said.
The police said they had classified the attack as a “terror incident.” The gunman was not from the Orlando area and was organized and well-prepared, they said.
The gunman was found dead inside the Pulse nightclub, one of the largest gay clubs in Orlando, about 5 a.m. after a shootout with the police, Chief Mina said.
The chief said it was difficult to assess the number of clubgoers who were killed because, as of 7:15 a.m., many of the bodies had not been removed....

The USA is arming its own terrorists.

None of the news organizations know anything. "We just don't know." That is the statement being passed around the country. YET, the speculation of the Radical Islamist Terrorist goes on. They know nothing by their own volition, but, they sure suspect a terrorist with radical leanings.

I am sure he was crazy, too. That is the only demographic carrying out these mass shootings. How is it a gun man can purchase guns, load and shoot the guns while crazy?

"I don't know."

And there was a real chance he was associated with anyone with a weapon of mass destruction.

And how would you tell this was a terrorist?

"There would be religious documents to be handed out to the crowd or he could have a tattoo."

In all honesty, the propagandists should stick with "I don't know."

The bodies aren't even cold and I have to wonder, where is Clapper?

When an educational reform measure is constitutional in Florida and the near majority of students are failing, there is something wrong with the state standard.

It seems a lawsuit needs to be filed on behalf of all the children (nearly a majority) who are UNDER SERVED by the Florida Educational Reform Standards.

Fans of the so-called education reform movement (click here) that began in Florida more than 15 years ago have had several major developments to celebrate recently.
A Leon County Circuit judge ruled, in a lawsuit brought by an advocacy group, that the state is in compliance with a constitutional requirement that Florida provide a uniform, high-quality public education system....
...After all this "reform," a frightening number of children are not doing well.
You might think things are OK if you just glanced at last month's headline, "Third-grade students improve slightly on state reading exam."
Improvement is good, right? A lot of kids did well, right?
In Broward County, only 55 percent of third graders passed the reading exam by scoring at three or above. In Palm Beach County, 52 percent passed. In Miami-Dade County, the passing rate was 54 percent. Those numbers were up from 52 percent, 51 percent and 53 percent respectively.
The statewide passing rate was 54 percent. Which means that statewide, barely more than half of Florida's students are reading at grade level, as measured by this high-stakes test.
It's a high-stakes test because it has real consequences. Students who can't eke out at least a level two can be retained in the third grade. Think that's just a few? Think again. That's 23 percent of Broward third-graders, 25 percent in Palm Beach County and 24 percent in Miami-Dade.
Results released Friday showed that trouble passing reading exams persists when high school students – who must pass the reading assessment to graduate – are tested....
