The emotional pain exhibited by the brave women who came forward is genuine. That level of pain after all these years is instilled in them. They have intricate coping methods due to PTSD. PTSD is an indicator of rape.
They continue to cope with a trauma at a very early sexual age when they were beginning to move from girl to woman. It is a difficult time for teens of both genders for normal growth and development. These girls were literally trapped into servitude by very clever people used to grooming them for sex at an age when they were floundering with their own identity.
The survivors are real. Their trauma is real. The trafficking was real. These girls were objects of the fantasies of wealthy, powerful men. They were dismissed as human beings when the money was paid. Somehow to the abusers their own pleasure outweighed dignity and compassion of young women with hopes for their future.
This went on globally and under the radar. More than 300 girls were used and remained a secret. There is a lot to know and if the emails reveal the truth, then the records need to be opened.
