The Sequester needs to be dissolved? 

Really?

Ryan says there is no leadership in Washington and when it comes to the House Republicans I could not agree more. Every time President Obama offers ways to economic improvement in the USA it is rejected. Does anyone actually believe Ryan or John McCain or Lindsay Graham or McConnell are sincere when they attempt to goad the Executive Branch to make a move to stop the Sequester or nominations? They aren't sincere. They are looking for more political fodder. 

Ryan is scared to admit he doesn't know what to do to make it happen as a political uptick for the GOP.

What else is there to understand about the GOP? They are nothing but political animals. Throw 'em a bone.

The country needs to move on.

I want peace. I want non-proliferation. I want a biotic planet. I want this stupid political dialogue in the USA to end. When a brilliant man is in the White House that makes the Republicans look like dunce, that is too bad. The country is correct in rallying around President Obama. He does have the answers. The politics are hideous that prevent the forward movement of the country to a place that would reassure our economic growth and a sincere and lasting peace. It can happen. It is real. It is not pie in the sky imagineering. When are we going to get there? Never?

The media really needs to stop floating trial balloons. We could have been experiencing global peace with no nukes in North Korea and Iran if Gorbachev was successful.

That is the point. There is no backbone to the USA media.

The USA needs to get over the fear of it's own stupidity.

Who do trust with their lives, the media and politicians or their own clear understanding of what can actually be done to secure the future of their children?

It has been two decades and one complete generation since General Secretary Gorbachev was placed under house arrest in Russia when the Soviet Union was dissolving. A full generation and there is no remembrance of the REAL life promise of peace. It is time to re-visit it and celebrate it.

WASHINGTON -- House Speaker John Boehner is rejecting (click here) President Obama's offer to make historic cuts to the federal government and the social safety net, saying in a statement Saturday evening that he can not agree to the tax increases Democrats insisted on as part of the bargain.

Boehner made his decision after speaking with the president by phone on Saturday afternoon, a day ahead of a major White House meeting with Democratic and GOP leadership, a Republican source familiar with situation said.

Obama had proposed to Republicans a "grand bargain" that accomplished a host of individual things that are unpopular on their own, but that just might pass as a huge package jammed through Congress with default looming. Obama offered to put Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid cuts on the table in exchange for a tax hike of roughly $100 billion per year over 10 years. Meanwhile, government spending would be cut by roughly three times that amount. It's no small irony that the party's dogmatic opposition to tax increases is costing the GOP its best opportunity to roll back social programs it has long targeted....
