President Obama, Is there somthin' we can do to save the land we love?

"Harry Truman" by Chicago (click here for official website)

America needs you
Harry Truman
Harry could you please come home
Things are looking bad
I know you would be mad
To see what kind of men
Prevail upon the land you love

America's wondering
How we got here
Harry all we get is lies
We're gettin' safer cars
Rocket ships to mars
From men who'd sell us out
To get themselves a piece of power

We'd love to hear you speak your mind
In plain and simple ways
Call it the way you see it
Like you did back in the day
You would play piano
Each morning walk a mile
Speak of what was going down
With honesty and style

America's calling
Harry Truman
Harry you know what to do
The world is turnin' round and losin' lots of ground
Oh Harry is there something we can do to save the land we love
Oh whoa whoa whoa

America's calling
Harry Truman
Harry you know what to do
The world is turnin' round
And losin' lots of ground
So Harry is there somethin'
We can do to save the land we love

Oh Harry is there somethin'
We can do to save the land we love
Harry
Harry is there somethin'
We can do to save the land we love

Off and running...

Do the 9/11 defendants know bin Laden is dead?

How much current events are the detainees aware of?

Are the detainees aware the families are watching? The detainees may be attempting to render more fear among Americans by displaying belligerence to the proceedings. It is fruitless, but, if they are aware bin Laden is dead, they might rethink the effectiveness of resisting the justice process before them. I personally believe the detainees should know exactly how well the civilized world is doing in the face of their attempts to terrorize us into submission. They have and are being defeated. They need to accept their fate of brutality of our peoples.

Give them newspapers in their own language that portrays THE TRUTH of our world since their heinous acts. They are inconsequential to our lives anymore. We are resilient to their attempts to make us succumb to their tactics.

NEW YORK — Nearly 11 years after the Sept. 11 attacks, (cilck here) family members of some of the victims watched via closed-circuit TV on Saturday as the self-proclaimed mastermind of the attacks and four co-defendants were arraigned at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in their first public appearance in years....

"Bin Laden was still seeking spectacular events..."

Crowley’s public criticism (click here) angered some at the Pentagon and across the administration. | AP Photo

...Crowley’s exit was set in motion Thursday when Crowley appeared at a Massachusetts Institute of Technology seminar and called the Pentagon’s handling of Pfc. Bradley Manning, who is detained at the brig at Quantico, “ridiculous and counterproductive and stupid.”...

...but, if al Qaeda were to make the attacks more retail it would rattle the American public." P.J. Crowley.

That is a really poor statement to make because the methods of al Qaeda regardless of how spectacular the event, IS retail. As a matter of fact, looking across the spectrum of events prevented with airlines was very retail. As a matter of fact, flight attendants were the people that interrupted the shoe bomber and the underwear bomber. So, to state the American people would be rattled or otherwise if al Qaeda attacks became retail is a really misleading and uneducated statement. Somehow, everyone along the way that have been acting to stop attacks are disregarded. If nothing else, the Age of al Qaeda has taught any American that 'being involved' is required to insure one makes it home everyday. So, to prolong the idea that citizens are still in peril and victims to terrorism is not accurate. The Age of al Qaeda has taught the average citizen a great deal about their vulnerability and how to end that vulnerability when it occurs. I think people like Mr. Crowley need to re-evaluate his understanding of the average citizen and how much control they have over their living environment. We are not victims anymore.
