It is a clear episode of lawlessness, corruption, and Donald Trump’s orders to instill his authoritarianism. HIS authoritarian regime is real. This interaction is not a mistake, or a gang of good ole’ boys on coffee break, it is the self-righteous REGIME of Trump.
Everyone is in the sites of ICE, DHS, and Trump. Hospitals, lawyers, universities, law enforcement, judges and political parties. It doesn’t matter how safe one feels there is a regime funded by tax payer dollars that is attempting to instill fear and hate. This regime is under orders and direction to intimidate every American to submit to it.
It has a name. It is called racketeering.
Stop to realize an off duty police officer was TARGETED. Got that? The Chief doesn’t comment on the race of the off duty police officer otherwise besides racketeering, it was also racist.
ICE officer or any federal officer does not conduct themselves this way. They were traveling in vehicles, in a group, or caravan if you will, surrounded an off duty police officer, exited their vehicles with weapons drawn. This is a completely an unprovoked attack of an innocent American.
I am not in the heads of the current regime to understand what the motivations are, but they drank some kind of Kool-Aide that is grossly unprofessional and based in goals foreign to our USA constitution.
The off duty officer acted to secure the crime scene by calling to others’ assist. To be noted it did not escalate and erupt in gunfire. This time.
Make no mistake or be willing to be doubtful of supposedly untrained ICE and DHS of the Trump Regime. They are under orders to disrupt and destroy this democracy. They are mostly targeting “the other” to make the instillation of Trump as authoritarian palatable. “The Other” is ANY person that lives outside of the Trump Regime, be it domestic or international. Hegseth is carrying out extrajudicial killing in neutral international waters.
We have a problem. Unfortunately, Krill Noem is too myopic to realize, we as Americans, are in to it. Nor. Does she care to see the forest for the trees.
This incident is highly illegal. I am grateful the others that replied to a call for help maintained their wits about them and there was no escalation. This response to a call for help worked. It would be wise for all police forces to have in place training and organized response to contain these problems.
The actions of the federal officers in this incident is in direct violation of not only good practice, but also the Rule of Law, and the USA Constitution. The off duty police officer was about to lose their civil right to due process. That is exactly the self-righteousness of hooded KKK of days of old.
We are winning fight of the attempted take over of the greatest democracy of all time. Seriously now. The Greeks and Roman empires can’t hold a candle to the United States of America.
