The Antarctica Wind Chime
I like to call it an Ice Chime. This is an actual wind chime in Antarctica. None of the pictures on this blog are manipulated. This was taken in the Summer in Antarctica otherwise with temperatures getting much colder in recent autumn and winter seasons would literally find icicles clinging to it.

Morning Papers - concluding
The weather in Antarctica (Crystal Ice Chime) is:
The temperatures at Scott Base are consistently cold over two days this week. This is the coldest I have noted at Scott Base. Scott Base rarely dips this low but certainly no matter the season over the past two years I have rarely seen a temperature below -19 centigrade. This is a curiosity and a very welcome one. I remain optimistic with will be a very good fall and winter in Antarctica. We'll see. Again, this is a rare temperature dip into the negative thirties. I hope it remains to be so.

The weather at Glacier Bay National Park (Crystal Wind Chime) is:
Glacier Bay is not as optimistic in it's spring and summer seasons. This formerly robust glacial park of the USA has not seen encouraging temperatures for quite some time.
