Medicare is vital to our Senior Citizens in this global pandemic. Hang it around the Republicans neck if Medicare is under attack.

The Republicans puts party before country. That is the only reason there was no order of conviction. There were seven Republicans in good conscious that voted guilty.

I thank all who participated. Once again the American people have the burden of protecting their Constitution from a dangerous person. We will do so.

Do they know no limit to assaulting the USA Constitution.

There is no equivalent to rioters angry over the deaths of Black Americans and the White Supremacists of January 6, 2021. The events of January 6, 2021 was incited by the president.

It can be said the rioting that occurred after the death of George Floyd was due to the lack of leadership in the White House and a clear understanding by other Americans of the White Supremacists leanings of Trump.

The rioters weren’t attacking a specific activity under the USA Constitution. The insurrectionists was acting against a constitutional activity to certify a president lawfully elected by the people. 

There is no moral equivalent between insurrectionists and rioters to end unlawful deaths of Black Americans. Not even close. The insurrections wanted to kill the very people that later passed the president’s certification. The insurrectionists was carrying out an act to end the electoral process that is the basis of our very government.

Rioters are being held for their actions no different than those that sought the end of a constitutional demand. Why is that? Because the USA Constitution stands today. If it were up to the insurrectionists it would not.

There is no moral equivalent.

If the insurrectionists succeeded there would be dead legislators, the certification would be lost along with election, Trump was standing by to be the strong man dictator. It was that close.

Those that protected the members of the legislature...

 ...on January 6th saved the USA Constitution. Absolutely they did. The electors went on to certify an election. It was the actions and deep commitment of those police and later the National Guard that protected the USA Constitution and allowed for the certification. 

What really was an astounding reality was the lack of returned violence against the insurrectionists. There was no idea among the police and National Guard of retribution so much as training to end the violence. Those protecting the Capital used very little violence to end the siege and only once in self-defenses a gun shot.

Why is that notable because Americans on both sides of the confrontation were protected from gun violence. That is even more notable because the expectations of the insurrectionists and Trump were to display a bloodbath to end the siege. Trump would rather have innumerable deaths at the hands of police and National Guard to justify his continued campaigns against the USA Constitution.

Every law enforcement and National Guard need to be commended for their restraint in protecting not only the USA Constitution but Americans no matter the side of the confrontation. Those police and National Guard ended a civil war before it got started. We are a nation with common goals to end a virus and build a new economy rather than what could have erupted as a civil war. 

There was a lot that happened that day that could have been much worse if it weren’t for a clear understanding of the value of life regardless of political/belief differences. It really is magnificent to realize all that occurred on January 6 and 7, 2021x

Robust free speech does not include hate speech.

Hate speech as used by Trump is illegal. When free speech crosses the line into hate resulting in death and/or rioting and insurrection it is criminal in its content.

Americans are arrested for bullying speech and speech that causes death, regardless of how that death occurred.

Free speech is not absolute, robust or otherwise. There is speech so offense and compelling it is illegal in some cities, such as the “N” word. There will never be an absolute freedom of speech within any civilized society. 

More than 200 insurrectionists arrested...

 ...so far in the siege by the Trump shadow government including the Proud Boys. Now, the country understands what “Stand back and stand by” stated by Trump of his radicalized following. Even then during the Presidential debate on September 29, 2020, Trump had his plans made for the siege of the US Capital on January 6, 2021.
