At least the Democrats' policies are good for something, like satisfying the water needs along the Colorado.

The Democrats are the smart guys that believe in funding, studies, and moral solutions for the public. When racketeering and robbing the USA Treasury are the primary drivers of the Executive Branch of the USA it is difficult to realize the Democratic governance actually got it right.

I'll be darn. Morality is actually important right along with ethics.

As the drought-stricken Colorado River (click here) faces record-low flows that could set off a sprawling water and power crisis across the West, the Trump administration is opening the federal cash spigot.

In recent weeks the Interior Department has contacted farm districts, cities, tribes and other water users in Arizona, California and Nevada looking to extend Biden administration contracts that paid out nearly $1.4 billion from Democrats’ signature climate law to entities that agreed to fallow fields, tighten conservation measures or otherwise forgo water deliveries....

Trump, "Just take it."

Of course. Why spend money when assets can simply be taken.

If funding doesn't hold up and staff is cut to the bone an institution's assets can be taken for other purposes. Dare I say, data centers?

Supercomputers are everywhere in the federal government. Why buy them when all that can simply be taken?

...In December, (click here) the Trump administration abruptly announced it would shut down the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), a Boulder, Colorado-based facility that helps researchers perform studies of weather, climate, atmospheric chemistry, and more. The news came as a shock, given that the government had never identified serious deficiencies in the management of NCAR and its associated supercomputing center in Wyoming.

Nevertheless, the government ordered the University Consortium for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), which manages NCAR on behalf of the National Science Foundation, to help it prepare to transfer the Wyoming facility to a different operator. UCAR sued the government and, on Monday, won a preliminary injunction that places the transfer of the facility on hold....

First it was weather balloons and now it is ocean monitors. Just take it.

The Trump administration (click here) is dismantling a $368 million deep-ocean observation system that was put in place a decade ago to monitor coastal environments, marine ecosystems and powerful currents that affect the global climate.

The National Science Foundation said it would send ships in June to begin removing more than 900 deep-sea instruments anchored off Oregon, Washington State, Alaska, North Carolina, and an area between Greenland and Iceland known as the Irminger Sea....

There is no paper trail for the receipts into the parks. Just take the money. If the parks aren't making money then they will have to be privatized in order for them to be maintained. Trump is skimming the money from the parks to pay for his 250 anniversary celebration. So. If there is no funding coming from the national parks, will there actually be a 250 year national celebration?

Park officials said (click here) the reservation system remains necessary because of the park's high visitation levels and smaller size compared with other major national parks.

The timed-entry system is now in its seventh year at Rocky Mountain National Park. According to Public Affairs Officer Kyle Patterson, the park continues to see some of the highest visitation numbers in the National Park System.

"We're about the fifth or sixth most visited," Patterson said.

While parks such as Yosemite, Arches and Glacier have ended their reservation systems, Patterson said Rocky Mountain National Park faces unique challenges.

"We're about one-ninth the landmass of Yellowstone and one-fifth the landmass of Yosemite, and we see about the same level of visitation," Patterson said. "So we know it is even more concentrated at Rocky than other parks."...

Interstellar space travel to Earth 2.0 is hundreds of years into the future.

What we don't know is far greater than what we do know. James Webb is testimony to that. So while the USA has a very robust space program and Mars is definitely on the horizon, it is extremely speculative where an IPO for Space X is actually going.

Elon Musk‘s SpaceX (click here) is days away from what may become the biggest IPO ever, but a report Wednesday morning reports at least 10 Trump administration officials hold stakes worth as much as $44 million in the rocket company and xAI, the artificial intelligence and social media firm SpaceX merged with in February.

The disclosures show federal staffers including special envoy Steve Witkoff and Small Business Administration head Kelly Loeffler holding combined exposure ranging from $9.9 million to $43.8 million, according to Bloomberg....

Realizing all the conflict of interest between the government and Musk to have Open AI and Sam Altman under seige all the time is worrisome. ChatGPT is no different than any other AI service on the market. So, what is the problem? If Florida wants to file a class action lawsuit including Musk's AI offering the charges might have a chance, but, singling out Open AI as a problem when it is actually systemic is not going to work.

CBS’s Weiss is in violation of the First Amendment.

Unless CBS wants to become an information channel no different than FOX News, their new boss is in violation of the USA First Amendment.

Scott Pelly and Anderson Cooper including any other journalists effected need to be returned to their regular programming. Anything else is corrupt propaganda. Weiss needs to be fired.

The USA is based in the truth. Our laws demand it including equal time. Abrupt firing and leaving of long trusted journalists is highly suspicious of a violation not just of their rights as professionals with ethical standards, but, of the American people who expect the news to be truthful.

Mark Wayne Mullen is a treasonist

He is defying judges orders to carry out an illegal and violent Trump agenda of hate and racism.

The Nazis are occupying the Executive Branch of the USA.

The Congress is OBLIGATED to address the Trump seditionists. It is not an option.

Ignoring judges orders is illegal. There are three branches of government, not one.
