More corruption from Trump and Barr.
I trial must go forward. Even if it begins as a civil suit there must be support for
Ms. Carroll and any others willing to come forward after all these years. This cannot stand. Bill Barr is not the personal lawyer to the president with allegations decades old. This is a very dangerous precedent by Barr and must be dealt with

Ms. Carroll is one of at least 26 women making accusations of sexual misconduct and sexual assault. Those 26 women were as of 2017. There are far more than that who have or are speaking out about Trump.

The Justice Department (click here) said on Monday that President Trump should not be sued personally for having denied a rape allegation because he made the statement while acting in his official capacity as president.
Lawyers for the government made the argument as they defended Attorney General William P. Barr’s decision to intervene in a defamation lawsuit filed in a New York court against President Trump by E. Jean Carroll, the writer.
Ms. Carroll has said that Mr. Trump raped her in a department store two decades ago and then falsely denied the attack, branding her a liar and harming her reputation....
The evidence and the reports of the same behaviors by Trump of many women and girls cannot be denied.
