Charlie Kirk Case

I read something about the ballistics of the bullet not matching the gun. The FBI better have good forensics on that roof top. With the lack of DNA evidence there is no case. There are no witnesses. The DNA evidence will be strong but still circumstantial.

I will give you my take on this. 

The wound Mr. Kirk suffered was an assassin’s wound. The bullet severed the jugular vein. There is no rescuing that. Holding pressure isn’t going to do much good. It is a large vein that drains deoxygenated blood from the head, brain, and face. It was a fatal shot. 

That shot, unless it was a lucky chance by an amateur, was carried out by a marksman. The knowledge of anatomy enters the picture. That is not a kid with ideas. That is a practiced marksman.

My question is why would anyone want to kill the guy? He was a wiseass Republican with dictatorial discourse that young Republicans found entertaining. They tried to mimic him because he made money at it. My best guess is that someone was jealous of him. Not for his wife, but, for his success. Who would be so jealous of him stealing the Republican limelight his death would be desirable to hire an assassin? I am not convinced it was a rooftop. It was a precision shot.

Straits of Hormuz

The Persian Gulf was seeing uninhibited ship traffic until the peace talks were abandoned by Trump. As soon as the peace talks broke down ships began to navigate away from the Persian Gulf. 

There is no indication of mines in the Gulf.

The allies don’t see the Gulf as a problem. That is why they are not participating in silly blockades.

There won’t be any ship traffic because the shipping companies worry more about the USA than Iran. The USA always has its finger on the trigger. That is the issue. It is the USA complicating the entire picture with Iran.

I don’t see peaceful use of nuclear energy as a hurdle. The IAEA would have to be involved as the damage to Iran’s infrastructure is so extensive. They would need experts assessing the return to the use of nuclear power.

The uranium used for peaceful power is different. When the talks broke down the holds on Iran using enrichment for military use broke down as well. The Trump administration is dangerous in it’s inconsistent policies and dictatorial style of foreign affairs.

The war does not have the backing of the soldiers.

Giving orders to service members who oppose the killing of innocent people won’t get them anywhere. It is not a military unless the soldiers believe in the fight. American soldiers do not see morality or competence. Some have died because of pure stupidity in Hegseth’s leadership. The soldiers are correct to leave when they aren’t safe from their own leadership.

We do need more angry young Muslim men in the world.

The civilian death toll in Iran alone exceeds 3300 which includes children and the elderly. In Lebanon the death toll is approximately 2000 civilians. These are deaths in a war of choice.

Trump was provided all kinds of grandeur by Israel. A square in Jerusalem, I believe, named for him. In return he moved the USA embassy to Jerusalem. That pandering to power was followed up with land in Israel named for Trump that would someday be a settlement. The Palestinian Embassy was moved to the basement of the building where the USA embassy was relocated. Of course, that would ensure the Palestinians would not attack the USA Embassy now in Jerusalem.

After Trump’s defeat in 2020 the white supremicists of organizations like Heritage Foundation came to understand their dream of a purely Christian population on Earth was going to fail. They enlisted all kinds of people that hate along with some billionaires to push Trump over the top in 2024. Interestingly enough it is my understanding many of the Heritage Foundation executives have jumped ship. The actual reality of being connected to genocide and treason was too much of a reality for them.

But, here we are now after instilling important limits on military destruction and killing to find out it wasn’t General Milley that was traitor, but, Trump and Hegseth that pledged their country’s military to religious zealotry. 

See, the path is easy to see. Venezuela is about Hezbollah. Venezuela was supposed to fall to the freely elected President who pledged loyalty to Trump in providing him with the Nobel Peace Prize.  Venezuela’s leadership thought differently and regardless of capturing Maduro still does not have regime change. Trump, acting as a criminal pirate stole Venezuelan oil. But, why? Additional fuel for what was to come? 

After wrecking his own ships in the Caribbean Hegseth decided to send the flat top to the Middle East to bring more aircraft as overkill. Once in place Hegseth began a merciless campaign against Iran, the Shi’ite nation hated by the Sunnis of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. So, destroying Iran’s government would not only be a thank you for Trump’s Palace Jet, it would solidify Israel’s ambitions as well. What could go wrong? 

The Truth, Donald. That is what could go wrong. 

The USA’s greatest aspiration was always global peace and prosperity. Always. The morality was safe until now. Trump has turned his wealth ambitions into temptations for every form of hate and greed within his reach and his bargaining chip was the greatest democracy ever to have existed with a defense force unmatched by any country on Earth.

The joy ride of Netanyahu and Trump is over. They will never annihilate populations of people to satisfy some kind of idea of the perfect godlike Caucasian population. It’s over. The people of the USA will never again be faced with such engineered oppression and death regime. Never again.

The USA military needs a system wide assessment.

Hegseth is pushing the military too hard. 

Repairs during battle cannot replace regular maintenance. There is no reason for the excessive wear and tear during peacetime. There should not be excessive use of the military by the Executive Branch because it assaults “readiness” should the country actually need it.

I don’t see the war with Iran as a national security issue. It should not have occurred. As far as I am concerned this is all political theater and not a sincere threat. 

The assessment needs to start where the highest use exists as well as where soldiers have been moved from their normal duties creating a greater timeline between safety inspections. My estimation is that readiness is stretched to near breaking point. A year of abuse is a lot to wearing away from readiness.

Maintenance and safety inspections need to override use. Such safety and readiness inspections doesn’t even begin to address inventory from milk to missiles.

The Pope isn’t coming here.

Why would the last great superpower need a draft?

This aggression by a USA president put into perspective the perilous future of this country. 

Vietnam was a war of choice with catastrophic numbers of dead both on the USA side and those of the Vietnamese. Today the two countries are friends through efforts by Americans like the Late Senator John McCain. 

The war into Afghanistan was justified. It would not be until a decade or so later that Osama bin Laden would be brought to justice. Unfortunately it was necessary for the Navy Seals to kill him but it was justice just the same. 

The Iraq War was illegal. I believe it was a war for oil and in exchange the Shi’ites were a target. I am quite sure there is not a document that says that. Saddam Hussein was brought to justice in Iraq, tried by Shi’ites for evidence found in mass graves of his atrocities. 

I believe the aggressions in the Middle East are unjustified. Here again the administration is obsessed with oil and are attacking the Shi’ites. 

It is time for the Israeli War Cabinet to be dissolved as the issues surrounding October 6th have been amply resolved.

The reality of the USA being the last great superpower has mostly been validated. It has been a reality for decades. 

It is time the USA bring its military prowess into perspective. It is time to end the oversized behemoth of a military. There is no reason for it. As soon as the USA begins to allow reasonable attrition of the military the rest of the world will, too. I sincerely believe we drive countries that oppose us to nuclear proliferation and militarization in even the poorest of countries. Realizing the aggression of this administration there is every reason to justify those military build ups. 

It was only a short time ago when France was on the verge of denuclearization. What stopped it? Trump’s apparent abandonment of NATO forcing uncertainty in Europe’s national security. 

Hegseth is welcome to destroy as much of the USA military as his incompetence allows, the mistake the American people will make is rebuilding it. 

It is far too easy for the USA to launch into war. The bullying of Venezuela was astounding. It also was accomplished with weapons never intended to be used. Those weapons need to be destroyed with a pact through the United Nations for cooperation with other countries to do the same.

The attack into Venezuela was one thing, but, the confrontation of Iran was a totally different thing. The USA military and all its magnificent soldiers are coveted by countries with lesser military capabilities and personnel, but, frustrated with issues they believe can be solved by war. 

There is absolutely no reason to expand the volunteer age to 42. There is less of a reason to demand Selective Service have a supercomputer filled with every Social Security number ready to assign a military code to their name for a military draft to satisfy more aggression and less national defense.

   

The Republicans have plans for our children not yet understood or known. The Inited States military is not a bargaining chip to close any deal or decide one religion has more purpose or correctness than another.

The United States has a magnificent space program in Artemis which could use more funding for ambitions yet realized. The military industrial complex is ready for a do over to fill benevolent needs and ambitions of the American people.

Peace awaits us, but, it will escape us if we allow a military to destroy everything in its path.

USA military draft

The Republicans have long wanted mandatory military service by young Americans. In the National Defense Authorization Bill of 2026 the Selective Service will automatically register any and all Americans at least 18 years old starting December 2026. Americans no longer have to pick up an application and register. It is done for you. Probably through Social Security numbers Americans now receive at birth.

Recently the eligible service age for volunteers increased to 42 years old. 

Something is brewing in the Republican agenda as of today they voted down a bill submitted by Democrats to end the war Trump started with Iran 33 days ago. 

Why go through all this trouble of guaranteeing every American is registered for the draft if the military is to remain a volunteer force and there is little reason for war? Legally the military is still the Defense Department, but, no Republican is demanding Hegseth end the his preference to rename it. 

This December, after the Midtems, the Selective Service can easily begin a draft and start  mandatory service. This is a Republican rule of law when the Democrats are trying to end Trump’s aggression. 

Risking criticism of Isreal

Israel has entered into a ceasefire agreement with Iran. That also includes Lebanon. Hezbollah may still be there in some capacity. Iran is the mother ship. Just that simple. Iran is not willing to allow the deaths of its diaspora.

Israel in the other hand has not brought any threat from Lebanon to the international community. What Israel has stated is it wants a land buffer with Lebanon. There has been no formal discussion with Lebanon. It looks more like a land grab than a land buffer. 

Why are bombs falling and people dying. Entire Lebanon lives have been disrupted in Israel’s demand for a land buffer. The ill was not dry on the ceasefire when Israel turned to more military efforts in Lebanon. Israel has to be the worst peace partner in the world.

The issues with Lebanon should have been brought to the ceasefire talks and not a surprise to all parties, except Israel. 

Lebanon was not involved in December 6th. Hezbollah was not involved. It was exclusively Hamas. That is a fact.

So, the attacks into Lebanon are unjustified except in the logic Israel practices.

If peace is to be achieved it includes all the players, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The Shea Crescent cannot pick and choose its attacks either.

This ceasefire has potential and it should not be minimized because of some antiquated ideology.

This is today.

This is what is possible.

Trying to continue a war that should have been settled a longtime ago is pure foolishness. There is no way Iran is going to consent to denuclearization if this mess of an ideology continues. Israel has a responsibility to its people and its neighbors. No more violent incursions.

The countries of the Middle East want peace. 

It is time it happens.

Pro-Iran armed factions in Iraq announced on Wednesday a two-week halt to their attacks on "enemy bases" in the region after the start of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.

"The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announces the suspension of its operations in Iraq and the region for two weeks," the alliance said in a short statement on Telegram.

Iraq later reopened its airspace, which it had closed due to the war, its state news agency said.

Continuing hostilities is not okay.

2 cities in Bahrain targeted despite 2-week truce in Iran war

Explosions were heard in Bahrain's capital Manama Wednesday morning, according to an AFP journalist, hours after the United States announced a ceasefire with Iran.

The Gulf kingdom's interior ministry said in a statement that civil defense crews had succeeded in controlling a fire that broke out in a facility "targeted by the sinful Iranian aggression."

Separately, the ministry later said two people were slightly injured and "a number of houses were damaged in the Sitra area as a result of shrapnel falling from the interception of an Iranian drone."

Manipulation or sincerity?

Iran is basically a third world country. It is no different than other similar countries such as North Korea. The country has no culture that creates and maintains research and development of sophisticated military systems, hence, the ease of owning nuclear weapons.

Iran has enemies. North Korea is sitting next to China/Russia. Iran is in the Middle East where everything is measured by religious purity. The Christian Nationalists in the USA are like that within the USA borders, religious purity. We see a lot of the religious purity play out at the Supreme Court. It is the one place where God overrides the USA Constitution.

The question with any third world country when it comes to denuclearization or peace is the measure of progress. Not ultimatums or timelines, but, inspections by the only organization qualified and disinterested enough to be trusted, the IAEA.

The way compliance is achieved with such negotiations is through incentives. Those incentives have to mean something. These are highly impoverished countries. If better status of the people can be achieved as in healthcare, the progress of the treaty becomes measurable and benevolent. Benevolence has its rewards. But, achieving such benevolence requires investment from the wealthiest countries on the planet as with USAID. 

Replacing USAID with hegemony is illegal.

Trump justifies his violent regime by complaining the immigrants or Iran is manipulating “the system that doesn’t work.” And nothing works. NATO doesn’t work. Voting machines don’t work. Voting always results in manipulation and takes Trump’s power away. 

Nothing works except killing and destruction and ICE. Two hundred and fifty years of growth into the greatest democracy ever to be on Earth, but, nothing works, huh? I will tell you what does not work. Donald Trump does not work.

Translation/interpretation

I never listen to a Trump speech or talk because it says nothing. It is a performance. I don’t find him entertaining. I never found his TV show entertaining. I found his sexual assault of women interesting. 

I listened to an intelligent journalist talk about an assessment of a Trump speech. 

Advise:

When listening to any kind of Trump talk/speech/verbal assault it requires the ability to translate even though spoken in English.

Translation of “Trump,” is easy once the character of the racketeer is applied. 

“Timeline.” 

What emotion is affiliated with a timeline? Limit setting. Expectations that are measurable. Calm. Everything is under control. It is an excuse for doing nothing. What happens at the end of a timeline? Patience and extension or explosion/trauma. So the calm remains until the anticipation of the end.

“Natural.”

Washing his hands of any responsibility. The conclusion will occur outside any manmade intervention. No cost. Dropping the ball. Donald is relieved of any further understanding. 

When translating “Trump,” it is never at face value. Donald is always slippery. 

Untrustworthy.

Go ahead. Negotiate with that. Negotiations with Trump can ONLY be based by the most OTHER competent person at the table.

7000 miles above the surface.

Seven thousand miles is not that far.

They are mapping the moon. I can’t imagine it changed that much in more than 4.5 billion years, but, humans see it differently. It is no longer made of green cheese (Medieval times).

According to this it sounds as though Iran is ready for peace. They want war reparations. Good. They will open the Straits based on transit fees. That is good, too. 

The Panama Canal is not free. Neither are the waterways of Iran. That is appropriate use of a country’s assets. Iran will have to provide for a safe passage if it is collecting fees. So, the issue with pirates won’t exist if in sovereign waters.

I see nothing that is an unreasonable demand from Iran. The leadership wants to get back to governance with a focus on prosperity. That is fantastic. It is a whole new picture for the Gulf countries. I would expect the regional countries to welcome these ideas.

Those transit fees can be a new source of income from a country with a higher rate of impoverishment.

The article below is from the Iranian Resistance. They should be brought into the peace talks. They could settle their complaints along with the countries of the area. I am sure the stark reality of unprecedented war would bring an interesting focus to their leadership. 

I think bringing any of the resistance in for talks may result in a clear understanding of their grievances. It could be a turning point resulting in greater domestic peace. It is possible. There are many Iranians jailed that may very well be some of Iran’s best citizens. The leadership should not be afraid of differences in opinion. The resistance has not been violent. There are demonstrators, not criminals. 

Greater understanding can lead to greater domestic peace. The leadership can express a reverence for the faith without victimizing citizens with different ideas.

The real problem is the USA Republican majority in Congress. They must restrain Trump. Leaders of both parties may very well need to be part of the peace talks as well.

Iran is refusing ?

Iran knows regardless the noble effort it does not have a trustworthy partner in the agreement. That what Iran has learned from previous agreements with Rubio.

Pakistan is leading to peace.

Pakistan has delivered a realistic solution toward peace. The proposal achieves all goals.

The problem is this, politics. The world has witnessed a vacillating USA president with statements that are vulgar to those of severe threats to estimations of complete disinterest. Those extremes are not serious statements of intent. Those statements are supposed to reveal a path forward for Trump’s political ambitions. Trump doesn’t care what he does. He doesn’t care about Iran or Iran’s people. He only cares about the number of potential voters in the USA that will provide a political victory.

If walking away from the conflict yielded larger numbers of votes as opposed to bombing Iran into the Stone Age, then that is what he will do. If swearing and screaming gets him more voters than that is what he will go.

This sort of behavior is typical at the end of an American political season when driving voters to the polls is based in rhetoric and nothing serious. It is called, “the silly season.” It is a method of getting the attention of voters not normally involved in voting. 

I am convinced his behavior is not about anything except his own political agenda/outcome. He will bomb Iran. He doesn’t care. If it brings voters on board he will destroy the country and people. Trump is about power, not governance.

The majority Republican Congress is stated to be focused on war and not governance. 

Pakistan should point out Trump’s crimes to him as well as a peace proposal that balances all interests. If Pakistan fails it will be because it does suit Trump’s politics. We have witnessed the bombing by Hegseth of civilians and civilian infrastructure in Iran. The liberation of the people won’t be achieved if they are dead. 

It is a competition never to be used.

The United States of America is in chronic competition for the most sophisticated national defense systems. The country’s intelligence of preparedness competes with China, Russia, and North Korea.

The United States of America likes to measure it’s ability to be secure by being involved in friendly competition elsewhere, like the Olympics, scientific cooperation in remote places like Antarctica and the famous seed bank of Svalbard, Sweden. 

There are astounding discoveries made like the Hadron Collider at CERN. E=mC2 is real. It is law. It is not theory. Any idea what that means for understanding this world and the future in understanding our universe? You know. Mars. Interstellar. All that stuff that never turns a profit. 

The knowledge of the universe isn’t known yet and treating a pain in the butt attitude about who is the biggest and baddest and has the most control IS A ROYAL WASTE of time and resources.

Enough of this petty attitude that take away the lives of people without a second thought. There are international laws being completely disregarded because a couple of government authorities want control of the world.

Christians celebrate the risen lord on Easter Sunday. While the crucifixion is a focus, the risen lord over coming his death is a joyful day.

People are weary of having their sensibilities insulted. War is not a topic for today. Our astronauts are in sight of the moon.
