The evidence about Putin is that he is a maniacal leader of an unwilling army.

This article from the Wall Street Journal could not be more wrong. The evidence points to a president of Russia that is out of control in every aspect of his hatred. He is rolling into Ukraine without the knowledge or consent of the Russian people and/or his cabinet.

Putin has been preparing for this invasion for decades, ever since Crimea and eastern Ukraine fell victim to Putin's manipulations. They no more belong to Russia then the moon is made of cheese. There is no evil genius here looking to profit from nuclear reactor rods. The soldiers that took over Chernobyl has not a clue about how to run a nuclear power plant. The people working to maintain some semblance of order at Chernobyl are now POWs. The same is true of Zaporizhzhia.

Putin has only one thing in mind and that is to carry out his invasion to satisfy his politics and seek revenge against every post Soviet state for betraying the Soviet Union and not reconstituting it. There is little here that spells genius for the Russian economy. If anything it is the opposite.

Putin will read this artical and pat himself on the back for unknowingly being so brilliant. He will adapt the article to his ideology and call himself a genius for reading a Wall Street Journal essay. Putin is not an economic engine that powers masterfully the Russian economy. He is nothing like that. There is no evidence to support this article and the author needs to realize he is pumping sunshine up Putin's pant leg. DO YOUR RESEARCH before printing such trash as this.

An unappreciated motive (click here) for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is that Kyiv was positioning itself to break from its longtime Russian nuclear suppliers, as the U.S. was encroaching on Russia’s largest nuclear export market.

At the beginning of the conflict, Russian tanks rolled through the Chernobyl site, kicking up dust and increasing radiation levels. Eight days later, the invaders seized the six-unit nuclear power plant in the town of Zaporizhzhya, 700 miles away....

It was never real. The hope for global peace with inclusion of Russia in the highest levels of economic growth and peace was a ruse.

During the entire decade of the 2010s, Russia was double faced. One face was a country which wanted peace and economic stability and the other face that no one saw in the real world wanted to destroy everything that was no Russian.

The idea Putin is willing to turn all of Ukraine to rubble and kill any human being in reach of missiles and soldiers' tanks is only to prove how deeply Putin's hate runs of those that abandoned the Soviet Union for autonomy. He hates them. And to think they left of the EU and NATO only fills him with more hate. Every country that is a post Soviet state was supposed to remain loyal to the Soviet Union. Putin hates eveyrone.

To make it clear as to the premediation of Russia's threat, there is currently a Russian anti-satellite military apparatus (click here) orbiting Earth for one purposse and that is to destroy The West's ability fo function it's military. That was November 2021. It was launched because Putin knew he would do this to Ukraine and he hopes beyond Ukraine.

I leave Moscow angry and sad. (click here)

It feels like a passage out of darkness to light, but left behind are friends trapped in one man's tunnel vision.

Russian President Vladimir Putin isn't just destroying Ukraine, but two nations, condemning Russians to an isolation they didn't necessarily choose.

Over the past couple of months while I've been reporting from Moscow, I've met many people who have been horrified, shocked and numbed by Putin's wanton aggression. Some of them believed him when he said he wouldn't invade Ukraine. Some even knew players in the Kremlin inner circle and thought they understood the President's red lines, but now that trust is blown and they fear he has no limits at all....

This was in interesting statement from a former wife of a Russian oligarch. I believe the sanctions against them are more than appropriate.

...Zhukova, (click here) who shares two children with (oligarch) Abramovich, told the New York Post and other outlets that the transfer was part of their divorce settlement. She also condemned the “brutal and horrific invasion,” telling the New York Post: “As someone born in Russia, I unequivocally condemn these acts of war, and I stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people as well as with the millions of Russians who feel the same way.”...

The Super yachts need to auctioned and sold transferring title to the buyer and the proceeds to go to Ukrainian relief efforts.

There were 'victims or casualties after Erbil blasts' Kurdish Health Minister Saman Barzanji said.

They are copying Russia's pattern, a barrage of missiles or rockets, etc. So much for the Iran deal. Putin is cutting everyone of the rouge countries loose by his bizarre attack on Ukraine. They all have to be watched now. The Shi'ites have no use for the Kurds regardless of their ability to fight and repel Daesh.

Multiple rockets (click here) have smashed into a US Army base and a Kurdish news channel office in Erbil, northern Iraq.

At least five 'Iranian-produced ballistic missiles' hit the city in the early hours of Sunday, Governor Omed Khoshnaw confirmed.

He said it was not clear whether the missiles were targeting the American consulate at the site, or the airport in the city...

Erbil (click here) is not a run down city. What does Iran think it's doing? Putin is disrupting world order. Trump killed generals (click here). The UN stated it was illegal. Why isn't he up on charges? I guess the barrage of missiles are a pay back. I guess.

It is my estimation Israel needs to be on it's toes because Assad is probably getting busy. Look for trouble with Hezbollah as well. Lebanon has been a bit under seige from Hezbollah. Don't for get Hezbollah is in the drug trade and also in Venezuela.

I am sure satellites are keeping an eye on North Korea. During Trump's time, the satellites were blocked over Russia and China. It is time to assess their orbit.

The communists are doing their level best to insight a world war. A reaction from the Iraq leadership would be a good idea.

You know, Daesh is still out there even if just in diffuse populations. There is a group in Afghanistan. If iran is going to be this stupid about churning up the Middle East, it will provide Daesh an opportunity to reconstitute.

The US State Department has a lot on their hands, but, a serious conversation with Iran about what they believe is justice for their general would provide insight to their grievances.

Ask Space X instead.

American astronaut (click here) Mark Vande Hei, currently aboard in the International Space Station high above the Earth, may have his planned return to the planet in jeopardy due to escalating tensions with Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.

Vande Hei, who has now been in space for nearly a year after his mission was extended last September, said then that he was to return from the over 350 day stay in space around March 2022...

Russia is never in a hurry to do anything.

Krikalev on the International Space Station in 2005

Kirkalev (click here) went to work on the Mir Space Station on May 18, 1991 and didn't come hom

until March 1992. He went to work as a Soviet, and returned as a Russian — because, on December 26, 1991, the Soviet Union dissolved and Krikalev became a cosmonaut without a country.

Krikalev, fellow cosmonaut Anatoly Artsebarsky, and British astronaut Helen Sharman climbed into their Soyuz capsule at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on May 18, 1991. At the time, Kazakhstan was still one of the “Soviet Socialist Republics.”...

...Krikalev’s days in the spring of 1991 were filled with exercise and conducting multiple EVAs to service the Mir space station. He had trained for, and planned on, staying aboard Mir for five months before returning to the Soviet Union and his native Leningrad. He would wind up staying in space for almost a year, returning to the new Russian Federation and a city returned to its name before the Bolshevik revolution, St. Petersburg....

...Though Gorbachev retained power, the country was economically and politically weakened and by December, the republics began to splinter into the Commonwealth of Independent States, an effort spearheaded by Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia, and signed by nine other former republics.

Then, on Christmas Day 1991, Gorbachev resigned as president of the Soviet Union, which effectively dissolved it altogether....

...Kirkaliv was less concerned with the political implications of this, Lewis says, than its implications for him personally. “He was more concerned about prolonging his mission and the impact that would have on his physical health,” she says. Bone and muscle mass deteriorate with time in space, and “he had trained for five months; he had not trained for a year-long mission.”...

...These people were still on the job, very dedicated to it,” Lewis says. Whatever successor state would arise in place of the former Soviet Union, “they recognized the need for the national prestige, to maintain the space station.”...

...Finally relieved from duty, Krikalev returned to Earth in March 1992 a severely weakened man needing assistance to walk on the snow-covered soil of the Republic of Kazakhstan after 311 days aboard the Mir space station....

Foreign nationals have died in Putin's political war. There was a report about an American Ukrainian man trying to reach his wife when the war broke out. He learned she was dead along with his two sons in a picture put on line. She and her two sons were gunned down by a Russian soldier for absolutely no reason at all, except, she was Ukrainian.

The Geneva Conventions demand justice.

This is what Putin will do until the end of time if he can manage it.

Ukraine has to have the ability of ending the seige by Russia. In order to do that it has to invade Russia, because, this is exactly what Russia will do until it can't anymore, through loss of supplies and/or manpower to produce the bombs. And if this won't work, then he will move on to bigger and bigger missiles until Ukraine is nothing but a pile of scrap metal.

As of right now, Ukraine has beaten Putin. In the first few weeks there are over 10,000 dead Russian soldiers. It took 11 years for the USA to lose over 50,000 in Vietnam. For all the time we were in Iraq the total soldiers dead came to less than 5000. That was soldiers, not people.

Putin has lost this war. He should surrender and leave. This is a political war based in propaganda and fallacy. If Putin was interested in making the world safer from an errant Ukraine it could have been accomplished through the United Nations long before a tank crossed borders. He didn't follow conventional methods nor peaceful ones because this is a willingness by Putin to kill human beings for his political propaganda at home. He has no intention of ever stepping down from power.

For any significant power in the world to believe this is not out of control and that Russia has been defeated is adding to the genocide.

Lviv, Ukraine -Russia’s airplanes and artillery widened their assault (click here) on Ukraine on Friday, striking airfields in the west and a major industrial hub in the east, as Moscow’s forces tried to regroup from recent losses and their onslaught fast reduced crowded cities to rubble.

American defense officials offered an assessment of the Russian air campaign, estimating that invading pilots are averaging 200 sorties a day, compared with five to 10 for Ukrainian forces, which are focusing more on surface-to-air missiles, rocket-propelled grenades and drones to take out Russian aircraft.

New commercial satellite images appeared to capture artillery firing on residential areas between Russian forces and the capital. The images from Maxar Technologies showed muzzle flashes and smoke from the big guns, as well as impact craters and burning homes in the town of Moschun, outside Kyiv, the company said....
