I did not like the balcony where President Biden gave his speech. It was lovely to look at, the podium was perfect, but, there was little security. There were at least two roads, one immediately at the border of the White House that had two traffic lights. There were many moving cars at any point in time during the President’s speech.
There was a second road up the hill with random moving traffic. I thought the Secret Service did a sloppy job. Too much risk. The Rose Garden would have been a more secure location.
Great speech, not a great place chosen for the podium.
We have some hint to what it would look like in that sedition of the USA Constitution sites in...
Article 3, section 3, clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution specifies that the giving of aid and comfort to the enemy is an element in the crime of Treason. Aid and comfort may consist of substantial assistance or the mere attempt to provide some support; actual help or the success of the enterprise is not relevant.
There is also the Patriot Act. It provides the agencies with latitude to conduct investigations when there is enough information to engage that suspicion without destroying civil rights of Americans. Regardless of a renegade Supreme Court, civil rights is important to the USA Consitution. Voting is one of the CIVIL RIGHTS in the Constitution. The criminal procedures in the USA Constitution elevates every citizen to the reason they are arrested and tried. Those are huge civil rights. It is important all the civil rights in the USA Consititution are enforced while writing domestic terrorism laws.
I think the US Judicial Committees in Congress should ask the agencies to submit what a domestic terrorism law would look like, but, that has to be tempered by a citizen consulting group as the bill is being written.
It is the agencies that will enforce these domestic terrorism laws. It has to work for them. They wouldn't want laws that overreach. They are citizens, too.
Former FBI Director Robert Mueller was able to carry out investigation and arrests under the Patriot Act.
I am sure there are plenty of Americans banned, too. No one should plan a trip to communist Russia without knowing "individual enemy status." I read an article the other day saying the Russian elite have alternative places in the world to live if Russia falls to another power. I have a lot of pause over that point of view.
Why would the elite think Russia will ever be invaded?
Are alternative residence away from Russia a matter of being out of reach of the Russian communist gestapo, when a super yacht is seized?
Where do Russians get the idea that any other country is remotely interested in an invasion of Russia? Seriously. Russia is a wasteland of nuclear contamination, why would a reasonable person even consider it?
Russia makes the assumption they need nukes to keep Russia Russian. NOT A PROBLEM!
The Free World has nuclear armaments to protect from communist invasion, the communists sincerely don't have that worry.
Denuclearization of the world should proceed with vigor.

There doesn't have to be good will between countries. There just needs to be polls globally for the communists to realize they have their countries to themselves. That is all that is needed. The USA is currently doing it's level best to beat back autocrats in the government. We offered good will within our election system that allowed Christian nationalism to flourish. We aren't interested in living under autocrats, China should smile at that quality of the Free World.

Putin came out stating the USA is Russia's greatest enemy. I would like to know why, because, I don't know anyone that wants to live under communist Putin. It isn't the Free World trying to convert the communists, it is the communists trying to convert the Free World. Communism must breed a persecution complex.

There is a new campaign for the Russian people to bring non-speaking Russian people to come to be part of the so very HIP Russia. If the video is coming out of Russia, then there is some recognition by the Russian elite, otherwise, it would never make it outside of the Russian borders.

It is unclear if the video is an official Kremlin production.
The video is accompanied by glossy stock footage of typical Russian scenes ranging from wholesome visuals of children running through fields and Russian cuisine to monuments like the All-Russian Exhibition Centre.
But it soon drops any pretence of being sincere....
We don't need droughts in the face of a global food shortage. Overland transport out of Ukraine is not realistic. Trains are not known to be safe. Trucks would have to be guaranteed safe passage. This Russian nightmare never ends. It's ability to be aggressive is about Russian politics. It is a very dangerous dynamic in that country. Russia must be contained going forward.

Kaub, Germany - Just after sunrise, (click here) Capt. Frank Sep turned to his ship’s radio for the defining news of his day: the water level in Kaub, the shallowest part of the middle section of the Rhine, Germany’s most important shipping route.
The news was bad, as it so often is these days.
One of the longest dry spells on record has left parts of the Rhine at record-low levels for months, forcing freighters to reduce their cargo or stop plying the river altogether....
A bunch of communist jerks! Return fire will be impressive. China needs to start practicing peace that is accompanied by prosperity. Not prosperity accompanied by war.

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (click here) has issued another warning to Nancy Pelosi ahead of her expected trip to Taiwan with a video simulating a missile strike, aircraft carriers advancing and fighter jets in formation.
The video was posted on WeChat on Monday morning following reports the U.S. House Speaker will arrive in Taipei on Tuesday night - despite Beijing warning they could shoot her plane down and launch a military response.
Senior Taiwanese government officials and a US official both told CNN that the stop is on her trip, even though it is not on her public itinerary.
Reports from TVBS News in Taiwan have said Pelosi could arrive in Taipei as early as tomorrow night and her team has booked two hotels, although there is no mention of the visit in her official itinerary.
The US official added that defense department officials were working on securing a plan to keep her safe, according to CNN. The visit will inflame tensions with China, which considers Taiwan one of its own territories.
Amid the threat, Taiwanese officials reportedly have cancelled leave for soldiers and officers 'to immediately prepare' for the prospect of war....

An atmospheric river would be good right now. Normal thunderstorms, if there is such a thing anymore, would wet things down somewhat, but, the lightning in this severe drought can begin fires, too.
Wildfires, like the one in Elmo, require evacuations, but, less people are effected due to a small population in most areas of the state.

The Elmo Fire (click here) near the western shores of Flathead Lake, quickly grew to nearly 11,000 acres over the weekend and is 0 percent contained, as of Sunday afternoon. The blaze spurred the evacuation of over three dozen homes and could threaten more.
600,000 acres in Texas. Glass bottles in garbage refracting light is said to be the source of the fire. That is a new one. Stop putting glass bottles or any other kind of glass in garbage, they belong in recycle.

The July 18 fire on Possum Kingdom Lake’s western shore, about 70 miles west of Fort Worth, took eight days to fully contain.
Chief Bonnie Watkins of the Possum Kingdom West Side Volunteer Fire Department found a trash can packed with party trash that included paper goods, food and numerous glass bottles, according to a department statement Thursday.
Watkins concluded that a wind gust opened the can lid, allowing sunlight magnified by the glass bottles to ignite the paper. The fire built rapidly until the fire spilled from the can and spread to nearby cedar trees, the statement said....
The Moose fire in Idaho is believed to be a human-caused fire. Looking for an arsonist or a careless American.
The fire was first spotted July 17. As of August 1, it had burned more than 56,000 acres -- or 87.6 square miles -- an area larger than the Boise city limits.
The specific cause and the events around the fire are still under investigation, but investigators say information will be released as the investigation unfolds....
The Hawaii wildfire is 100 percent contained. Because of the population density in Hawaii when a wildfire hits it can have devastating effects.
One unit with four firefighters responded to the blaze near the intersection of Leahi Avenue and Monsarrat Avenue just before 9:15 p.m. When they arrived, they saw an unoccupied food truck “fully involved in fire” and flames singeing tree limbs overhead, the Honolulu Fire Department said.
Firefighters brought the fire under control and extinguished it at 9:30 p.m. The crew remained at the scene until 10:45 p.m. to extinguish hot spots and smoldering debris.
There is the issue of health, including blood clots in legs. There is also the issue of a larger number of pregnant women. However, the women using jets will take a dive as they are at home taking care of large families rather than traveling as an entrepreneur or a corporate employee.
Wall Street needs to consider the fact that as American women lose their civil rights, the market place will have very big changes.
Personally, NASA needs to concentrate on interstellar travel as a goal.

NASA is one step closer (click here) to putting human boots onMarsafter Congress passed the first authorization bill for the American space agency in five years, which includes funding for the Artemis mission to not only continue its work to the moon but also soar to the Red Planet.
Within the 1,054 page document is the 'National Aeronautics and Space Administration Authorization Act of 2022' that includes the section 'Moon to Mars Program' that must be established 120 days after the act goes into effect.
This includes implementing processes to ensure a lunar base and orbiting outpost are constructed, spacesuits are made and designs for human habitats on Mars are in the works. However, the bill does not state the exact amount of funds set to be given to NASA to make it all happen.
The last time Congress passed funding for NASA was back in 2017, which came with the NASA Transition Authorization Act. The American space agency received $19.5 billion in funding, with most of it set for public-private partnerships with commercial spaceflight companies, and to start gearing up for the trip to Mars....
