Kavanaugh became unglued. He was angry, abusive and not at all contrite. He said nothing of his behavior as a young man from a family of privilege. He never recognized anyone involved with Dr. Ford's sexual assault while stating he believes she was assaulted, it just wasn't him. Then who?
He failed in exhibiting judicial temperament when speaking to the US Senate Judicial Committee about the allegations before him. He disrespected members of the US Senate Judicial Committee, primarily women, by assuming he had the right to ask personal questions regarding alcohol consumption. That is harassment.
He did not call for a full investigation to all those that accused him and pretended any further investigation was to reveal witnesses to Dr. Ford's sexual assault. That was the right wing media line and he simply allowed it to exist as an excuse for his appointment to proceed.
The FBI was to interview more accusers, not witnesses to Dr. Ford's sexual assault. The accusers were familiar with Kavanaugh's behavior and were both men and women. In the repeated reporting of his behavior, there is an underlying truth that upholds Dr. Ford's experience with Kavanaugh.
Witness after witness was coming forward to state they wanted to be heard as well as speak to the FBI in regard to Kavanaugh's nomination and he ignored all of them as if they did not exist. The entire episode with Kavanaugh flies in the face of expectations Americans demand of their Supreme Court.
What is very worrisome is the fact there is a known background with Kavanaugh that exposes him professionally and creates an opportunity for coercion of his power. I and many other Americans that know him and that don't; do not feel comfortable with him on the Supreme Court. There are too many loose ends that spell trouble for the country.
