This should be required watching for the USA Republican Party.

If NATO looks the other way, this is exactly what will occur with Ukraine.

This film is bone chilling to realize this level of indifference and apathy about life is possible again. Putin already has camps full of Ukrainian children for reassignment of their loyalties to Russia. This is the level of evil that still exists in the world and it started a decade or so ago when Russia began to call it's diaspora home. There have been plans for a long time and this is nothing if Putin is given permission to conduct himself as he pleases.

"Don't worry, he won't put all of them up the chimney, there will be workers as you need them."

Hitler wanted a certain outcome to his cleansing of diversity from his land and it was carried out as the Fuehrer of the Third Reich demanded. Did Hitler make these plans? No. He simply stated what was to be and the result were the crematories. The Commandant said it was the perfect solution, demonstrated it, and expanded on it when granted the power. All others simply walked away and congratulated him as he continued to ethnically cleanse Hitler's land.

Retribution is nothing but evil.

Retribution is nothing but evil.

Retribution is nothing but evil.

The war with Ukraine, for Russia, is retribution for the fall of the Soviet Union.

There is no looking the other way or defunding the war for NATO or the USA.

Conway – Former President Donald Trump (click here) said America would not defend NATO allies against Russia if they did not meet his definition of contributing enough defense spending, threatening to upend the alliance if elected president again in 2024.

Trump has long criticized defense spending by other NATO member countries and has long falsely suggested there are unpaid balances owed by allies, but Saturday's remarks during a campaign rally in Conway, S.C., went a step further as he suggested Russia should attack allies that are "delinquent" with contributions.

"If we don't pay and we're attacked by Russia, will you protect us?," Trump recalled another country's leader asking while him while he was president. "No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want."...

This is retribution and nothing short of it. Alliances are far more than money. They are a commitment to stand with each other and protect the sovereign rights of the citizens. Reducing an alliance to obedience over funding is sick and lacks profound understanding of what national security actually is made of and why standing alone is idiocy.

Our allies put their military lives on the line along with us. This is not a minor issue. This is not simply politics or campaign fodder, this is a change in the way people think that will open them up to danger as they have never before experienced. The passivity of the USA previous to WWII was due to the importance placed on wealth and trade. It was absolutely idiocy to allow Europe to crumble while wealth merchants played a game that ultimately brought the war to USA shores.

Nearly 24 million Russians died in WWII of which half were civilians. There were Russians in those concentration camps that died along side others in the crematories. I would think this is NOTHING they would idealize again because the borders of Russia has changed and the people are happy living within a democracy.

The Holocaust (click here) was the Nazi’s deliberate, organized, state-sponsored persecution and machinelike murder of approximately six million European Jews and at least five million Soviet prisoners of war, Romany, Jehovah’s Witnesses, homosexuals, and other victims....

This is old world hatred and war. There is no room for this anymore. There is a planet at stake and the divisiveness is typical of politics that destroys and is loyal to money rather than human life. This hatred has to end. Peace must be the discussion of the day.

The aspirations of the few can destroy the home of many. The priorities of the world have to change. This nightmare is never, ever to repeat itself.

Books are under profound attack in the United States. (click here) They are disappearing from library shelves, being challenged in droves, being decreed off limits by school boards, legislators, and prison authorities. And everywhere, it is the books that have long fought for a place on the shelf that are being targeted. Books by authors of color, by LGBTQ+ authors, by women. Books about racism, sexuality, gender, history. PEN America pushes back against the banning of books and the intolerance, exclusion, and censorship that undergird it.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.
