By destroying the bridge Russia built to illegally annex Crimea, clearly demonstrates the lack of sovereignty Russia held over the region. It is very unfortunate Russia invaded Crimea at all after the tragedy of the Maidan. Needless to say hostilities existed in Ukraine long before 2014.
