Orban is out of step with NATO and the EU.

Orban says it is reaction to the warrants against Netanyahu. I believe the EU can act against Orban fur violating the alliance.

Putin is having a fit about Iran, too.

Vladimir Putin is a bit of a predictable president. If it looks like he is going to act, then he is preparing to do just that. He might be going back to Syria with crosshairs on Iran. I would be surprised if this is about NATO.

What is Belarus and Hungry up to?

I am not impressed. I still think it is about Syria, Iran, and the Middle East. It would be imprudent to over react.

If this were about NATO Russia would be weakening his front with Syria and Iran further. Iran has been an ally to

Russia. Russia has destroyed the Syrian rebels before. I think there is still a Russian port in Syria. Putin has been making accolades about the Black Sea and movements there. It points to the Middle East. Turkey would have a clearer understanding than anyone else.

Netanyahu and Trump are openly aggressive about the Iranian nuclear program.

Talking about a ceasefire with Ukraine allows relief to Russia’s military to focus elsewhere.

Erdogan has been coming down on citizens about his control. That is because he is nervous about the region.

GREENLAND IS ALREADY PROTECTED BY THE USA. It is called NATO.

Trump is in violation of the USA alliance with

NATO by threatening an invasion of a sovereign ally’s territory. The USA is already bound to protect European allies, including their territories. The alliance is why the USA has military bases throughout the world including Greenland. If Trump can’t understand very simple relationships with allies then he has mental health problems that involve aggression and he needs to be removed from office.

The ice storms have isolated people in Michigan and the good hearted National Guard are helping all helping, but, they need assistance other than chainsaws. There needs to be equipment that can move those logs once they have been cut to size. Seriously.

Ron DeSantis is wrong about Canadians.

The USA border is being viewed as an unpredictable place by many people traditionally comfortable with traveling here. It is not because the Canadian government is warning citizens to stay home.

Europe’s precautions have changed because of recent detentions. Those detentions of people openly welcome into Canada gives people pause.

I imagine Canadians owning land and homes in the USA will be here to visit, but, the legal crossings at normal points of entry are seeing less Canadians coming to visit.

Trump scares people. Just that simple. I believe that is deliberate on the president’s part. He thinks it will scare away illegal crossings. It works on vacationers, too.

It is important Congress remove all those restrictions for Canadians as well as end the tariffs with Canada. The USA and Canada have always been the closest of allies, including trade. Congress must end these hostile policies.

Congress needs to be defend those bills if the president refuses to sign it.

One does not have to believe in the Bible to understand that idea in the real world.

Evangelicals are global. They were kicked out of Russia when Putin called the diaspora home and closed the borders at least five years ago. They should be careful. This level of greed and hate will spawn the same. Other countries will start to look around and decide about all this.

Trump goes against the belief system of the world. Up to now the USA had a benevolent presence that encouraged cooperation between countries to heal old wounds and bring about better quality of life. Trump has turned against all that.

Trump is causing suffering everywhere, both domestic and internationally.

This is not normal.

This is not politics. This is something very different. It is attack on civilization. When the USA intelligence two decades ago assessed what the world would be like in the chaos of a heating Earth. THIS IS NOT IT. The president was supposed to stabilize, not destabilize.

Trump is removing all regulations, including FDA. These importers provide quality products to USA standards and above. Trump’s cronies can’t compete. These tariffs are not about removing taxes off anyone. These tariffs aren’t about leveling the playing field for American products. These tariffs ARE intended to limit consumer choice while allowing products with greater contaminants in food and medicine.

I can’t believe he is doing this to little Vietnam who has to defend against China.
