No backsliding, please.

It is terrifying to have a powerful man target another person with thinly veiled death threats. So much has happened because of the politics of hate inspired by Trump. There has been too much hate and fear in the country. Congress persons and their spouses dead, a former Speaker’s spouse damaged, home invasions, legal citizens of this magnificent country assaulted, arrested, and detained for absolutely no other reason than their job descriptions and/or their nationality and skin color. Every Venezuelan sent to that horrible prison was innocent of any crime. They were targeted because of their ethnicity and tattoos. 

If Ms. Greene wants to come to defend the USA Constitution, Bill of Rights, 29 amendments, civil rights, healthcare, decency, and the love of education that has been the cornerstone to the Middle Class, then her apology is welcome. She needs to lead and over shadow the hate and venom that exists today in our politics. The suffering of the people has to stop. The lies have to be repudiated. The truth has to protect our country and return the belief of estranged allies. 

There is a lot of work to be done. The more Americans standing their ground, the stronger the resolve to protect this democracy and the decent people that call it home.
