The Trump Administration is simply untrustworthy.

This was in Saudi Arabia. Trump/Hegseth are just letting the military be destroyed. I am fairly sure it can be called treason. Soldiers are dead.

If they won't protect the military, they aren't protecting the country. Hegseth simply started dropped bombs and kept going without regard to the national security of the country.

It is just outrageous the abuse of power of this administration. And now they want to get their hands on AI. I don't think so.

NVIDIA is about Wall Street profits (click here). NVIDIA is in the minority when it comes to expressing caution about the technology.

Tristan Harris and Aza Raskin (click here) are deeply concerned about the deployment of tools like ChatGPT. As co-founders of the Center for Human Technology, they are on a mission to close the gap between what the world hears publicly about A.I. and what the people closest to the risks and harms inside A.I. labs are telling them.

AI Czar

Most probably a violation of the ICC (click here)

This is about national security, but, does anyone trust Trump to handle this without exploiting every company in the country?

Trump is too dangerous to trust.

I think the industry protections fall under Patent and Copyright (Click here).

There is no policy for AI in the USA. The Republicans have insisted on "hands off" when it comes to the ITs.

Trump is too cozy with corruption and racketeering and Jarad Kushner to allow such a Czar to demand cooperation with the industry.

Artificial intelligence (click here) is no longer confined to futuristic demos or novelty apps — it’s now embedded in how business, governments and consumers work and interact with the web. From generative AI that powers content creation, to self-driving cars, to AI-driven breakthroughs in medicine, the technology is reshaping nearly every sector and continues to grow in popularity.

With investors clamoring and the technology cross-pollinating countless industries, we’ve rounded up some AI companies and startups worth keeping an eye on....

Putin needs to leave Ukraine.

No country in the world hates the Russian people. It is a matter of expansionism and aggression that kills people and jeopardizes the health and future of children. The war with Ukraine was a huge mistake given the fact the Ukrainian people were working very hard to be a partner to those to the east and west of their borders, including cleaning up corruption.

President Zelenskyy has been nothing short of remarkable. He and his wife have stood by the Ukrainian people during all this time. The ability of a leader to maintain the dignity and direction of his people is to be admired.

Perhaps the elections in Russia are finally revealing the dissatisfaction of the people and the Kremlin is finally paying attention.

Europe needs to decide what is next. I know they want the border incursions to stop. That most probably has to take place before unification talks begin. Vladimir might have an ally in Trump, but, the rest of the world doesn't share that sentiment.

Russian President Vladimir Putin (click here) claimed that Moscow is prepared to resume cooperation and restore diplomatic relations with its European neighbors, asserting that Russia harbors no hostile intentions toward the European continent, Russian state news agency TASS reported on Friday, Sept. 18.

Speaking during a meeting of Russia’s Military-Industrial Commission, the Russian leader insisted that the Kremlin remains open to re-establishing bilateral dialogue despite years of acute geopolitical confrontation since Moscow launched its 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

“We are ready to cooperate and restore relations with our European neighbors,” Putin stated, adding that Moscow maintains no aggressive designs against European states....

The Republican Congress has endangered this democracy.

They don't deserve a raise. Not even a raise in their expense accounts. The job of legislating as a representative of a constituency means staying in touch with the issues of the people, not becoming part of a corrupt administration where anything goes.

There is the THEORY that making it worth their while to actually represent the people might be what is needed. WRONG. This federal congress has been willing to push this democracy over the cliff. They are beyond rehabilitation even if it is money they lust after.

By Kyle Khan-Mullins,

Most people, (click here) if given the chance, would jump at the opportunity to give themselves a raise. Not members of Congress. Every year since 2009, members—seemingly terrified of backlash from voters—have opted to deny themselves a pay bump from their $174,000 annual salary, even as inflation eats away at the value of a dollar. Over 18 years, those denials have added up. Today, rank-and-file members of Congress earn less, in inflation-adjusted dollars, than at any point since the 1950s....

Vance needs to be careful.

I am certain Mr. Cobb isn't attempting to threaten the press, right? Mr. Cobb is simply reflecting on the tragedy happening inside this democracy currently based on Trump's past temper tantrums.

Trump is ruthless. What else is new?

My deceased uncle worked in the transportation business all his life at a variety of capacity. When he met someone unreasonable in demands he would say, "He has no scruples."

All my senior relatives died at ripe old ages over 80, including my Late Uncle.

...Cobb also pointed to reports (click here) about Trump’s behavior in the past when things haven’t gone his way.

“Keep in mind, this is a man who was willing to tolerate the hanging of his vice president on Jan. 6th, 2021, in order to prevent the peaceful transfer of power,” Cobb said. “He wants to be a bully. He is a bully, and this is his chance to punch down on people at the end of a week where the courts and the facts beat him pretty badly

The Tabloid President

The tabloid president is having trouble accepting mainstream media? He owns the problem because banning media from
The White House is a violation of the First Amendment.

The Education Department is a disaster.

The only way this even becomes reasonable is to cancel the debt and absorb the cost of these loans. They are playing with credit rating and preventing contacts from being satisfied.

It is racketeering and very illegal. Contract law is explicit to it's terms and conditions. Everything is in writing. Any and all legislation effecting the contracts is also in writing and explicit.

The only reason his is occurring is because there is not enough staff and the administration is attempting to shut down the department which can only occur with Congressional legislation.

Student loan borrowers (click here) pursuing Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) face significant processing delays. Education Department lags are preventing some qualifying payments from being credited, forcing many to continue payments on their student loans long after meeting the 120-payment requirement. The department's tracking system is failing to update for July, August, and September, leaving borrowers in limbo and unable to receive a discharge. Numerous frustrated individuals report completing their service months ago but still await official loan forgiveness. Options are limited; administrative forbearance is unavailable without confirmed payments, and general forbearance has downsides. Borrowers should maintain records and file complaints, though these channels also experience backlogs.

As good as gold.

The Kennedy Center is full of treasure and is why Trump wants to deconstruct the building and use the materials for his own purpose.

With these treasures I do believe The Center is unvalued and can borrow with a mortgage to conduct any repairs.

Congress can appropriate monies to pay back the mortgage. Fund raising must be allowed to go forward with proper oversight.
