The nuclear negotiations with the Trump administration were very amateurish and there was no reason for it. The EXPERT globally in regard to nuclear capacity and enrichment is the IAEA. Iran was well know to them. It was the IAEA that oversaw the P5+1 meetings and the final agreement.
Iran was in compliance with the agreements until Trump withdrew from them. Then what was the point of compliance if the strongest partner was out of compliance as well. Iran was never a threat to the USA or Israel. Did Iran have capability. Sure. The deaths of it’s scientists were proof, but, Iran was interested in nuclear peace regardless of what Trump rants on about.
Nuclear weapons are mute as far as I am concerned. If they are used, the consequences far outweigh the justification. The nukes are a deterrent. Unfortunately.
But, this invasion into Iran was never justified. It was a war of choice. Seeing now the devastation of the loss of Shi’ite girls leaves a lot of questions. I will never buy the idea their deaths were a mistake. Absolutely not. REAL leaders don’t make that kind of mistake. Israel knows its enemies inside and out.
By the way, Israel now has control over the skies of Iran. It is the only aspect of this invasion that makes sense. If Iran is to be disarmed from nuclear weapons the elimination of missile capacity has to be maintained. It is the lack of that capacity that will keep Iran safe, as its neighbors realized.
There is no reason why Iran cannot return to business as usual under that flyover capacity by Israel while Iran seeks justice. There is absolutely no reason that justifies further invasion and occupation is out of the question.
Now, attention has to turn to the return of the Palestinian homeland to the Palestinians.
