The big issue this week with the Flint Water Crisis is that all those charged with crimes came out to agree with the former Governor Snyder they would "take the 5th" at any trial.

So!

The prosecution isn't reliant on the testimony of the accused. The cases against them stand on their own.

It is just a publicity stunt to contaminate and intimidate the jury pool

THERE ARE DEAD PEOPLE, SNYDER. FORGET ABOUT THAT. A trial can bring their lives back to prove how full of hatred Snyder was when he diverted the water.

I am wondering though, when the people of Flint were dying and troubled with illness and fear for their own water coming out of the tap, did Snyder like it? Did he sort of chuckle? It took an entire year for the problem to receive attention and that was only after Rachel Maddow outed the gross negligence of Snyder and his administration. During that year did Snyder smirk at the idea of Flint drinking poisoned water?

Supply Chain Issues

Yes this is a Russia jet shot down. But, that is not the problem. The problem is that it crashed into State Scientific Production Enterprise  Kommunar Corporation (click here).

The Ghost is fast becoming a symbol of resistance against the massive, but stalled, invasion. Pictured :A member of the Ukrainian Territorial Defence Forces walks near remains of the Russian Sukhoi Su-25 assault aircraft crashed into the State Scientific Production Enterprise «Kommunar Corporation» in Ukraine's second-biggest city of Kharkiv on March 8

"The Ghost" is now considered a profound addition to the Ukraine fight for freedom. The Ghost has been considered a myth. The Ukraine military is wondering if it is. The Ghost is beinging credited with ten destroyed Russian jets. He is stated to have been heard stating, 'Hello occupiers, I'm coming for your soul!'

We (State Scientific Production Enterprise  Kommunar Corporation) are specialized in output of control systems for rockets-carriers and space objects that is proved with high technologies and high qualification of personnel.

Every company in Ukraine that contributed to peaceful trade no longer can supply those commodities. As Putin destroys Ukraine, he is also sponsoring his own special sanctions. These companies may not be able to supply their products no matter what they are.

...The EU is Ukraine's largest trading partner, (click here) accounting for more than 40% of its trade in 2019. Ukraine is the 18th trading of the EU accounting for around 1,1% of EU's total trade. Total trade between EU and Ukraine reached €43,3 bn in 2019.

Ukraine exports to the EU amounted to €19.1 bn in 2019. The main Ukraine exports are raw materials (iron, steel, mining products, agricultural products), chemical products and machinery. This is a considerably increase of 48,5% since 2016.

The EU exports to Ukraine amounted to over €24.2 bn in 2019. The main EU exports to Ukraine include machinery and transport equipment, chemicals, and manufactured goods. EU exports to Ukraine have been subject to a similar impressive increase since 2016 of 48,8%.

The number of Ukrainian companies exporting to the EU has increased at an impressive rate, from approximately 11,700 in 2015 to over 14,500 in 2019....'

There will also be a decline in grants and donations. No exceptions. The organizations that have received LAUNDERED MONEY from Russian oligarchs may be faced with an investigation as to why they accepted laundered money. The oligarches don't pay in rubles, they pay in global currencies. Considering the exchange rate of the Russian Ruble where did all this wealth come from?

...Leaders of cultural, (click here) educational and medical institutions, along with a chief rabbi, had sent a letter urging the United States not to impose sanctions on the Russian, a major donor, saying it would hurt Israel and the Jewish world. Days later, Mr. Abramovich and Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial, announced a partnership that a spokesman for the organization said included a pledge of at least $10 million....

Any donations by oligarches should not be considered as part of an organizations income, but, as their liability. It is time that organizations scale back to a reasonable size since the money they received from oligarches is all laundered.

Sometimes organizations issue grants, loans and scholarships that benefit their interests. That is probably the initial place they can cut back on spending right now. The future would mean a reassessment of their goals and income.

Russia is a rouge state.

Nothing Russia states is credible anymore. It's warring tactics are crude. It's nuclear science is outrageously dangerous. The worse North Korea does is blow up a mountain from the inside. This is a real eye opener about Russia. The country is willing to be blind to the truth and allow themselves to believe there is nothing but racists outside the Russian borders.

The Russian athletes are pawns on an international stage with orders to perform to perfection even if dopping is involved only to allow the officiating authority left to accommodate it. Russia has no credibility anymore. There is nothing but corruption in those borders. Corruption that not only reaches to the highest officials in the country, but, begins with the president.

Russia is a problem now. The world needs to decide how to deal with it.

Vienna, Austria:

The Chernobyl nuclear power plant is no longer transmitting data to the UN's atomic watchdog, the agency said Tuesday, as it voiced concern for staff working under Russian guard at the Ukrainian facility.

The one global authority on everything nuclear now has absolutely no data from Chernobyl. Lord only knows what he will do to any other nuclear facility in Ukraine. I hate to say this, but, I don't think The West can stay out of this much longer. The Ukrainian military has and is accomplishing a remarkable feat against the Russians, but, this? This is a problem of a different nature.

Russia can begin by explaining what the detected radiation spike was immediately after the invasion. Russia also needs to hand over the radiation badges the personnel are wearing to know if they have been exposed and need to leave for treatment. Russia does not have a good track record on anything nuclear. They have buried nuclear scientists in multiples after each accident and the world doesn't have confidence in Russia taking control of Chernobyl. You don't hand car keys to one that can't drive.

On February 24, (click here) Russia invaded Ukraine and seized the defunct Chernobyl plant.

The daughter of a overnight staffer (click here) being held hostage in Chernobyl has warned the plant is being held by Russian forces who 'have no clue about nuclear security protocols' after Kyiv's intelligence agency claimed Putin's forces are preparing to fake a terror attack at the site to try to blackmail the world.

Natalia Ruemmele has warned that staffers who usually work 12 hour shifts have been maintaining the nuclear plant at gunpoint for more than two weeks since Russian forces seized control of the site as she pleaded with Moscow to agree to a ceasefire and allow a shift change.

Ukrainian intelligence earlier warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his troops to create a 'man-made catastrophe' at Chernobyl which he plans to blame on Ukrainian 'saboteurs' in order to justify further escalating his war against the ex-Soviet country....

This is Jim Dandy wonderful. Do we know if these facilities are still standing? If the facilities are breached what was inside and what happens when it is exposed to fresh air? What are the inventories like? Does the WHO have inventories of what was housed in Ukraine?

No, I don't think Ukraine would destroy the labs and poison their own people and soldiers.

...The World Health Organization (WHO) (click here) has called for Ukraine to destroy all high-threat pathogens in the country’s laboratories to preempt any leakages of toxins that could spread disease, Reuters reported.

“WHO has strongly recommended to the Ministry of Health in Ukraine and other responsible bodies to destroy high-threat pathogens to prevent any potential spills,” the organization told Reuters in a statement.

Russia’s incursion into Ukraine and its bombardment of cities has increased the risk that disease-causing pathogens could escape such laboratories, if any of these buildings sustain damage, Reuters reported, citing biosecurity experts....

Ukrainians are simply magnificent people.

Thank you, Mary Barre..

Chevy Silverado totally electric truck (click here) has enormous capacity and performance. It out classes the diesel and liquid fuel models.

Who drives 400 miles a day?

Zero crashes? Did she say zero crashes? Nice. Even nicer insurance rates. I am not surprised there are increases in insurance rates. The used vehicle has more value now, as do most real property.

For more than a year, (click here) from her wood-paneled home office, Mary Barra has been leading General Motors on a quest that, if successful, will be one of the most consequential reinventions in corporate history. GM is playing serious catchup in the electric-vehicle game, and success is far from certain for the legacy carmaker that sold fewer than 21,000 EVs in the U.S. last year. Market leader Tesla accounted for an astonishing 79% of all U.S. EV registrations in 2020, according to Automotive News....
