August 21, 2005. Fort Collins, Colorado. 15 miles south there was one inch of rain in 20 minutes.  

August 22, 2005. Estes Park, Colorado. Photographer stated :: Here's my dog and my deck. We were pounded with hail around 1:30pm today. Cool front came through. We had about 1 inch of hail on our deck. The temp went from the 70's and now it's 52 degrees. Some areas in Estes Park have 1 to 5 inches of hail. Looks like it snowed here! We are at 7500 ft near Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.

August 22, 2005. Estes Park, Colorado. Photographer states :: I had to put my jeep in 4 wheel to get up my road. I passed a Colorado DOT truck w/ a snowplow on the front. Some of our streets are going to have to be plowed.

We were pounded with hail! Estes Park, CO 7500 ft above sea level. Near Rocky Mountain National Park. Temp is 52 at my house, it was in the 70's!

August 22, 2005. Hurricane Hilary in the Pacific. It's headed further into the Pacific. I guess one can speculate about Hawaii but is days in the offing.
