N for narcan

All over this great country we are defeating drug overdose. Sure it costs money, but , we save lives. 

There are all sorts of efforts to save lives in the USA. People around the world recognize the greatness of this country in the love of life our people carry out for each other. Complete strangers act to save lives and return people to mental health. 

The war on drugs is conducted at our borders, in our cities, in free mental health clinics, in our newspapers, and in our classrooms.

Our police and courts level power at criminals and it works. These dispensers of narcan come in many forms including Main Street businesses displaying a simple letter N in their window. The merchant has a supply. Imagine that. A shoe store, boutique, barber shop, and movie theaters all displaying a simple letter N in their window because there is narcan nose spray inside to save lives. That is incredible.

That is America. Those are the people of America. There is no stigma attached to any business, or people. Just a simple way forward for poisoned addicts. That act of compassion for another human being is sometimes the first time an addict receives caring. 

We are a great people. We don’t value killing of any kind. We value life and the quality of that life. 

Assassination

Currently Maduro has control of the Venezuelan military. He instills fear into people because it is a brutal regime. Venezuelans seek asylum from him in the USA. They are refugees. 

Maduro can be stated as the de facto leader of Venezuela. The military ensures his place right now. 

It could be said there are two presidents in Venezuela. One cannot ignore who exactly holds power and won’t relinquish it to a freely elected person. 

In that is the reality of USA law that states there will be no assassinations of anyone leading a country. Trump is openly threatening Maduro’s life. He states Maduro’s days are numbered. That translates into a death threat. It is illegal. Trump is breaking the law.

The USA Congress has not declared war on Venezuela. The USA Congress cannot order the assassination of anyone. When Saddam was captured it was on Iraqi soil, he stood trail in Iraq, and it was there he was sentenced.

Trump’s open threats are more of the same killing we are witnessing with the extrajudicial deaths of more than 80 people on speed boats SUPPOSEDLY carrying drugs the USA has as controlled substances.

Supposedly these dead people are on a list of some kind. That list is probably a sanction list and/or a no fly list. There is no way they are on an official list for assassination. The USA has “The Ten Most Wanted,” etc. That list of very dangerous people is not about assassination. It is about capture and justice.

So all this killing is way outside standard USA law. Unless there was a declaration of war and the people on the boats initiated confrontations they should still be alive. As a demonstration of that, the USA Coast Guard just carried out a record setting drug bust at sea.

I on? The Rule of Law and humanity. There are no bad guys to assassinate. There are criminals to catch. 

The issues in the Caribbean Sea are out of control.

Why the military is even taking orders from these bastards is nothing I can understand or imagine. This is not the way the USA does things. From what can tell these actions are based in hate, with an Admiral requiring lawyers to understand the orders he is receiving. It is all bullshit.

Seahorse and The Skipper

“The Skipper,” is the seized tanker. 

There needs to be proof this was a sanctioned tanker. Oil tankers aren’t explicitly stated in the law. If the ships are specifically named there may be some leverage.

The United Nations Security Council needs to convene. This is more than seizing sanctioned ships. Trump has made direct threats to Maduro.

Breaking the law, domestic or international, is NOT in the purview of the President of the United States of America!

There are very limited reasons to board an oil tanker. Inciting war is not one of them! Best I can tell this is at least theft and kidnapping.

I think The Hague, and United Nations Security Council need to begin proceedings against Trump. The USA Congress must end this president’s tirades. He is breaking the law.
