A New York State judge (click here) ruled Friday that a criminal fraud and tax evasion prosecution against the Trump Organization and its former CFO, Allen Weisselberg, can proceed.
Weisselberg and the company asked a judge in February to dismiss all 15 counts charged against them. Judge Juan Merchan dismissed one of several tax fraud counts against the Trump Organization, but allowed all others to remain.
Attorneys for Weisselberg and the company did not immediately comment on Friday's decisions....

- Washington - Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), the Chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties, today introduced a measure to enforce Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment prohibiting those who have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States from holding public office.
Ratified in the aftermath of the Civil War, Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment explicitly disqualifies any person from public office who, having previously taken an oath as a federal or state office holder, engaged in insurrection or rebellion. This disability can only be removed by a two-thirds vote of each House of Congress. Having lived through that violent rebellion, the framers of Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment were concerned that office holders who had engaged in insurrection might again serve in the very State and Federal governments they had previously sought to violently overthrow.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“The January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol demonstrates that the concerns that prompted ratification of the Fourteenth Amendment remain relevant today. On that day, a mob violently stormed the United States Capitol in an attempt to impede the constitutional function of our democracy and overturn the 2020 election results. This was the first time the Capitol had been invaded since the War of 1812. It is important that we enforce the constitutional provision establishing that any office holders who violated their oaths of office and engaged in this insurrection cannot be trusted with public office.”
The legislation introduced today would create a modern mechanism to enforce this section of the Constitution through a cause of action for the Attorney General before a three-judge panel. Should the Attorney General prove, by clear and convincing evidence, that an officeholder or former officeholder engaged in insurrection or rebellion, that individual would be disqualified from holding public office....

The National Archives (click here) pushed back Friday on former President Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claim that his predecessor, former President Barrack Obama, “kept 33 million pages of documents, much of them classified” upon leaving office.
“The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) assumed exclusive legal and physical custody of Obama Presidential records when President Barack Obama left office in 2017, in accordance with the Presidential Records Act (PRA),” NARA said in a statement.
“NARA moved approximately 30 million pages of unclassified records to a NARA facility in the Chicago area where they are maintained exclusively by NARA. Additionally, NARA maintains the classified Obama Presidential records in a NARA facility in the Washington, DC, area. As required by the PRA, former President Obama has no control over where and how NARA stores the Presidential records of his Administration,” the statement from National Archives said.
Earlier Friday, Trump alleged that Obama not only kept classified records but that many of them are related to nuclear weapons. Trump made the claim after The Washington Post reported the FBI sought documents related to nuclear weapons when it searched his Mar-a-Lago residence this week.

The FBI recovered 11 sets of classified documents from its search of former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence earlier this week, including some materials marked as "top secret/SCI," The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.
The newspaper reported that FBI agents removed about 20 boxes from Trump's resort and residence in Palm Beach, Florida, including binders, sets of classified government materials, photographs and at least one handwritten note.
Federal agents reportedly seized one set of "top secret/SCI" documents — the highest level of classification. Agents took four sets of "top secret" documents, three sets of "secret" documents and three sets of "confidential" documents — the lowest level of classification, the Journal reported....

Displaced families from Ukraine now have the possibility to apply for family allowance in Austria.
The Austrian Minister of Education, Martin Polaschek, (click here) presented a comprehensive package of measures designed to provide a solid foundation for the integration of young Ukrainians into Austria's schools and universities.
The Austrian Federal Ministry of Education (BMBWF) is preparing for up to 50,000 Ukrainian children and young people in Austria in the coming school year. In the past school year, more than 11,000 Ukrainian children had already been integrated into the Austrian school system. In the meantime, BMBWF estimates that there are more than 16,000 Ukrainian children and young people in Austria.
According to the Ministry of Education, Minister Martin Polaschek is already throughout the summer in the exchange with all educational directorates, associations and other stakeholders about the measures for the coming school year. The measures implemented and current developments in the number of refugees are being evaluated.

Zaporizhzya nuclear power plant must be closed under the direction of the IAEA.
The Russians MUST leave the power plant as they are destroying it and leaving it to be another problem like Chernobyl, but, more likely worse.

According to a statement released on Saturday by Grossi, “I’m particularly concerned by the shelling yesterday at Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, which highlights the very real possibility of a nuclear disaster that might endanger human health and the environment in Ukraine and beyond.”
He continued, “Military action endangering the security and safety of the Zaporizhzya nuclear power station is utterly unacceptable and must be avoided at all costs...

What does a country do when a major party are actually double agents for Russia?

I didn't care the reason for the meeting, it was with Russians in the Oval Office shortly after the election of Trump. I knew no matter the reason he would be lying because there were so many things wrong with the election and now before my eyes was Russia palling around with Trump. My first thought then as it is today, is that he is a double agent. He had to have some reason to treat an entire Russian delegation into the Oval Office. I am sure they were tourists as well as a foreign government seeking classified material.
Today Trump is stating there are no such nuclear papers in his possession. I have one question. Then who's possession are they in because over and over Trump has proven in his life and in office, he is a liar, a criminal and leans into racism and communism as if it were his life long dream.
