Navarro’s lawyer is lying.

Police routinely use hand cuffs and leg irons with prisoners. It is a matter of ROUTINE safety measures.

I guess Mr. Navarro was lucky they protected his head when getting in and out of the car, huh?

Boyfriend Loophole

Republicans don't care nor understand women.

The presence of a gun (click here) in a domestic violence situation increases the risk of homicide by 500%.

19% of domestic violence involves a weapon.

Suicide is a viable method to kill a partner.

Domestic victimization is correlated with a higher rate of depression and suicidal behavior.

Only 34% of people who are injured by intimate partners receive medical care for their injuries.

A study of intimate partner homicides found that 20% of victims were not the intimate partners themselves, but family members, friends, neighbors, persons who intervened, law enforcement responders, or bystanders.

72% of all murder-suicides involve an intimate partner; 94% of the victims of these murder suicides are female.

Victims of intimate partner violence lose a total of 8.0 million days of paid work each year.

The cost of intimate partner violence exceeds $8.3 billion per year.

Between 21-60% of victims of intimate partner violence lose their jobs due to reasons stemming from the abuse.

Between 2003 and 2008, 142 women were murdered in their workplace by their abuser, 78% of women killed in the workplace during this timeframe.

For every percentage rate mentioned here should be multiplied by 10 million.

On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men.

When domestic violence occurs the victims should immediately be provided with a mobile phone that connects to the local police, medical insurance to seek mental health as well as physical health and a legal consultant.

Those that are involved in abuse should separate from their partners for at least a year before returning while both are in counceling with reporting to a court.

Women are easily overpowered if they are attempting to use a personal gun. A woman carrying a gun needs to have concealed carry classes and training. Carrying a gun into an abusive relationship in attempts to protect oneself is nto a wise idea.

Domestic violence impacts every aspect of a person's life and should be viewed with the idea of ending it and not simply mitigate it.

Involving a judge without or with lawyers with mandatory counceling for all parties needs to be included if boyfriend or husband is a police officer or in the USA military.

REPUBLICANS DON'T LIKE TO CONFISCATE GUNS.

Limits access to firearms (click here) when an individual is under certain types of domestic restraining orders or protective orders issued or renewed on or after July 1, 2017.

Owning a gun of any kind is NOT a right, it is a priviledge.

For Americans with COMFORTABLE savings and itching to spend it.

Start a small business. Small businesses were the quickest to recover in 2008. Many small businesses survived the ravages of Wall Street. It is safe to say, Small Businesses are recession and depression proof. Local economies can function through these times.

Avoid debt. If a Small Business needs loans place applications through the Small Business Administration because they have loans with low interest and/or no interest. Some of the programs of the Small Business Administration have lower expectations to a credit score.

The expenses of a Small Business will bring down tax rates that other investments will not. The customer equity to a Small Business is invaluable. Being a reliable Small Business brings social perks, too.

GET INVITED.

BE SOCIETY.

BE A DESIRABLE FRIEND.

SMALL BUSINESSES CAN BE FUN, PURPOSEFUL AND GRATIFYING.

Disabled national parks and lands due to the Climate Crisis.

Temperatures (click here) have been on the rise for much of the southwestern United States this week, leaving residents to swelter while daily record highs are placed in jeopardy, particularly in California's Death Valley, where temperatures climbed above 120 degrees Fahrenheit. AccuWeather forecasters say the sizzling heat will continue for much of the weekend, but much-needed relief is on the horizon.

A northward bulge in the jet stream unfolded over the Southwestern states this week, allowing air more typical of the middle of summer to spread over the region. This push of unseasonably hot air sent thermometers across the Southwest to impressive levels as some cities recorded the highest temperatures of the year so far.

On Wednesday, Phoenix recorded its first 110-F reading of the year as the Valley of the Sun baked in the midst of July-like heat. The city typically first hits this milestone around June 13.

Las Vegas also recorded its highest temperature of the year so far for the second consecutive day when the mercury soared to 109 F on Friday, also breaking the daily record of 108 degrees set in 1996. The city had previously seen the highest temperature of the year on Thursday when the mercury rose to 108 degrees. In early June, high temperatures in Sin City usually reach into the upper 90s, meaning the two days' readings were an impressive 10 degrees above average....

Six days later the cost of gas strikes again. The family should sue the petroleum industry for this death. He wasn't able to fill his car's tank and over estimated his ability to cross the desert with it. Who thinks about dying from heat stroke in a trusted car?

Did the gentleman have a personal phone and was that note published on social media somewhere? Heat stroke can occur quickly.

The mountains in the distance on the Death Valley Scenic Highway can be as much as 188 miles away. That is a lot of gas to burn to get safely through that national park. If a car gets 30 mpg it would take more than 6 gallons of gas to reach the other side of the park. At a cost of $5.00 per gallon, that is $30.00. Air conditioning makes gas mileage less efficient. $30 is a lot of money for many people and was at one time enough to fill up the tank of a car.

Americans need to adjust their thinking because the Climate Crisis is here and is taking lives.

Visitors to Death Valley National Park (click here)  made a grisly discovery earlier this week: the body of a man who appeared to succumb to extreme temperatures during a record-setting June heat wave.

The deceased, 67-year-old David Kelleher of Huntington Beach, California, appeared to have run out gas while traveling through the California park, which has some of the hottest and most extreme weather on Earth. Temperatures rose to a sweltering 123 degrees Fahrenheit on June 10, shattering the daily record high of 120 set in 1994.

In a statement, the National Park Service wrote that Kelleher’s vehicle was found in the parking lot of Zabriskie Point, a popular hiking area and a top spot for visitors to view the sunrise and sunset. A park ranger noticed the vehicle, which was the only one in the parking lot on June 8. Three days later, the ranger noticed the vehicle for a second time, as it was once again the last vehicle in the lot.

A closer inspection of the vehicle revealed a crumbled note inside that read "out of gas."...

Was Former Vice President Pence crazy for refusing to get into the Secret Service car?

 No.

Mike Pence was magnificent in his dedication to the United States of America. He put the country first, no different than any soldier that fights for this country.

Former Vice President Pence has known the thinking of Secret Service personnel most of his government service career. He trusted them, his family was in the garage. He had a duty to his family as well. But, he never doubted he could continue to maintain the democracy and bring in the National Guard. He knew no matter the damage to the Capitol itself, it would still be standing to carry out the Joint Meeting of Congress and the peaceful transition of power.

His office was transported from the door opposite the Senate Chambers to the garage where he was protected by the USA Secret Service. He made calls and listened to radio transmissions from Secret Service. He wanted control and he had it.

If another Vice President was in that garage, today, the peaceful transition of power would be in jeopardy. I have no doubt in that. The country has a profound debt to Mike Pence, his family and the Secret Service that followed the directions of a man in danger of death.

Why did the Fed increase the interest rate that may price homebuyers out of the market?

Because those buyers have to be priced out of the market to bring down the cost of home ownership. The actual costs of purchasing a home has gotten ridiculous. What difference does it make if one pays $200k for a $100k home if over the length of the loan the interest rate of $200k is more than paying interest of a $100k home?

There is a glut of home buyers right now. It is a sellers market. As a consequence home buyers are in bidding wars that include a pass on inspection and any other condition NORMALLY found in the purchase while paying far over the value of the house.

The purchasers don't see it that way. They see the housing market continuing to increase in home values. Some home buyers are purchasing to wait a short while the house increases value and building equity nearly instantly. Once there is an appreciable value to the home they will sell it to continue to purchase homes and increase their personal net worth. That is an inflated idea. It is an artificially increased value market.

The cost of the quality of life of Americans and the world for that matter has to top out and come down to a reasonable level. It is way costs of living is out of line to the exceed income of most Americans and the world for that matter. If housing is allowed to dictate cost of living along with energy eventually all those homeowners who seek to increase their personal equity and asset value will price themselves out of their own market. We saw this before in 2007 and 2008. People will lose their homes and their asset value and their will be a return to large numbers of bankruptcy and this time perhaps more than a Second Great Recession, but, instead a severe depression.

The labor market plays into this as well. Wall Street will continue to borrow free money to increase their market penetration and an increase in their ability to find purchasers. That is why the job market is out of sync than usual. As Wall Street has to compete for employees the wage is going up to the labor market. That is great for those normally stuck in the Working Poor, however, it also interprets into higher costs of goods to the consumer therefore nullifying the higher wages.

This vicious cycle has to stop. When the Democrats demanded a minimum wage of $15.00 per hour it was to provide a quality of life to working Americans that should exist. But, it is mute now to demand $15.00 per hour minimum wage. The competition for employees is intense and employers have gone over $15 per hour pay rate all by themselves without laws to demand it.

So, where do people go from here? As cost of living removes the value of money in the way of purchase power, the Working Poor are once again returned to the status of having to work two to three jobs to support a family with two earners in the household.

One other thing about home ownership. The costs to maintain a home will be a pressure as well as the cost of government in their costs. That means taxes will increase as well as maintenance. That will ultimately push all those homes purchased at higher than normal value back on the market and quite possibly repossessed by a bank that was paying zero interest on the money they advanced. That puts the banks exactly back where they were in 2007 into 2008.

When all these realities come to pass, the overall impact will an enormous depression that people will have to dig themselves out of.

Today, the USA is facing another high homeless rate. The average rent in the USA is $2000 per month. That is ridiculous. It is unsustainable. There will ultimately be a collapse of the entire world economic system while it is racing to end the threat Russia and China claims as their touted power.

Every American is capable of understanding this paradigm. They need to save their money in banks with better interest rates. Currently, some credit unions are offering higher interest rates.

Get this, a federal credit union encourages it's members to use their debit cards. They offer a $10 reward per month for significant use of debit cards. They see it as a protection issue as well as understanding their depositers. How do they do that? Come on. You know this, but, just not exposed to it across the spectrum of debit card usage in the country.

When a consumer uses a Mastercard or Visa or whatever credit card they use there is a fee charged to the merchant for the money advance from the credit card company. The credit union involved encourages use of their debit card because they can return some of the fees to the membership as a $10 per month bonus depending on the number of debit card transactions incurred that month.

Hello, America. Wall Street is racking in YOUR hard earned wages while you think you are doing the best you can and this rate of inflation is great for selling homes.

WAKE UP!!!

Why would Mr. Eastman say that?

Why would Mr. Eastman state Al Gore did not have the power he was calling for to benefit Trump while he states Kamila Harris should not have that power in 2024?

Hint: It goes beyond politics to the state of sovereignty of the United States of America.

The only reason that is logical to that statement is because once Trump was reinstated as President he would dismantle the federal election system and he would be King. There would be no elections of 2024.
