Obstruction of justice
It is my opinion the HHS Secretary is working around the clock to find children that have parents because he is afraid of a judge that might throw him in jail if his agency doesn’t comply because funding has been cut for his agency as well as the DOJ where necessary background checks are conducted. If he is at least demonstrating and documenting his efforts the judge might have an insightful moment to realize Donald Trump is exclusively responsible for all of the mess including obstruction of justice due lack of funding.
The US military should be on it’s toes during the Trump-Putin Summit. Trump has the nuclear codes wherever he goes. I would assume the worst. The safest place in the world tomorrow is probably Putin’s office. We know where Melanie is, but, where is everyone else? If the answer is down a rabbit hole or in China we might have a real problem.
Ukraine is worried that Trump May formally recognize Crimea as a Russian possession. It can’t be any worse than when Rand-McNally changed their maps. The reason Ukraine is worried is because Trump stayed that could be a possibility on June 29th. My guess is that he will do exactly that. It means nothing because it takes an act of Congress to carry out such geographical changes.
Trump is a fool for Putin. I wish Trump hadn’t borrowed all that money. It is a hell of a thing to realize the President of the United States would first bankrupt the USA Treasury before selling out entirely to Russia for Trump Organization debt forgiveness.
I was reading where the Trump Organization phone calls to Russia after the sanctions were in place weren’t clandestine, according to the FBI. Of course they weren’t, they were for loan approval. That doesn’t make them any less dangerous!

Keeping up with the Joneses.
The Washington Post is reporting from a source within the White House that Trump’s nominee Cavanaugh has a problem with extravagant spending for National tickets. His current personal balance sheet is less than $70,000. At times in his life as a judge his debt was greater than his assets. That places him as a risk as a Supreme Court Judge and his inability to place his financial well being ahead of sports tickets.
It is a character issue.
Come to think of it, sort of sounds similar to Trump’s character issues, except, Trump declared bankruptcy several times.
Has Trump ever declared bankruptcy in Russia? He might have to if his plans for bankrupting the US Treasury doesn’t work out. Do they have bankruptcy in Russia? I think it is just labor in Siberia, right? You know who might know? Manafort. I betcha he knows all that kinda stuff.
While on the subject of strange habits of the CORRUPT, you know how Zinke flys his personal sovereignty flag over the Interior Department when he is in the office; the UK allies should fly the baby Trump blimp over the White House whenever he is not there. As a matter of fact the UK π¬π§ allies should sell Trump Baby Blimps so demonstrators everywhere can fly them anywhere in the world.

Trump is such a jerk.
President Trump has to apologize to Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Russia has been selling natural gas to Germany for a long time. There was a time when Russia no longer invaded helpless countries, was a trading partner with The West and was a member of the G8. That all changed when Russia took up it’s old ways and invaded Ukraine casting the country into a war it did not want or was prepared for. Never, at any time, had Germany acted as a puppet to Russia as Trump does today. Germany stood with the USA and Ukraine appalled at Russian aggression and the violation of a decades long treaty.
I apologize to Chancellor Merkel for the childish and embarrassing behavior of Donald Trump, sadly the President of the USA at the hand of Russia. He loves Russia and Vladimir Putin more than he loves the United States of America, this time demonstrated by his lack of knowledge regarding Germany and it’s magnificent leaders and his outrageous statements about suspicions of Germany and gas purchases from Russia.
Over decades of time Germany has faced difficulties with Russia in continuing consistent supplies of Russian gas, sometimes during the coldest of winters even when relations were good. I believe price was an issue from time to time.
Germany is a very valuable ally to the USA and a loyal ally within NATO. Most of the people of the USA do not agree with Mr. Trump. It is unfortunate the delegation accompanying him are to timid to speak up and set the record straight.

President Trump is making ridiculous demands of our NATO partners in comparison to the tax cuts the USA Republican Congress passed that was based in greed and not need. It’s outrageous that he is laying the USA debt at the feet of NATO in demanding doubling Europe partner spending, Trump needs to get his priorities straight.
2024 is the agreed upon date for the 2 percent goal. I think the military has to. Illustrate exactly what NATO is suppose to look like as far as troops and jets, tanks, etc. by 2024 should. If the 2024 picture is insufficient to NATO’s purpose then the 2024 demands needs to be amended to 3 percent.
I think NATO is an impressive alliance for it’s longevity, purpose and strength. This meeting is a reminder of who the USA is to very important people of Europe. Europe is a trading partner as well. Europe is important to the people of the USA.
If President Trump is disgruntled that more of the wealth of Europe isn’t in his pocket; too bad. He should’ve been more appropriate in the change in the tax code. When Trump states NATO needs to increase it’s spending to 4 % immediately, he needs to back it up with facts.
It is an annoyance that Russian oil and gas are coming to Europe and it has had it’s problems. Trump would like to get more of Europe’s Euros into the USA GDP through sales of USA LNG. Europe has never been dependent on USA liquid natural gas. They don’t know if a US product is any more trouble free than Russia’s gas. I would think Europe would transition over time for such changes. But, Europe is also transitioning to solar and wind, so the need for natural gas is decreasing every year. It may be Europe is looking to end any need for natural gas at all.
President Trump in making such insulting statements shows how much he doesn’t know rather than what he does know. I think his willingness to seek to be publicly angry with Europe is laziness. He is trying to use political pressure to achieve his goal rather than having done his research and come up with facts and figures and AN ACTUAL PLAN that proves to be an actual deal, good idea and asset to Europe in relying on the USA rather than Russia.
The First Lady looks lovely. She has some of the most unique fashion of current trends.

Just for the record...
...the Federalist Society is a bunch of wealthy people, many of them lawyers. There are chapters spread throughout the country. Bork was the first lawyer/judge the Federalists tried to put on the US Supreme Court. Scalia was the second. Anyone can understand the attraction by lawyers and judges that want to advance their career; the Federalist Society helped. They more than helped they set up a political machine with an agenda.
One should ask why Republicans depend on a society of wealthy people to fill judge seats. These judges carry the Republican agenda forward. While, the judges take all the regular oaths to uphold the US Constitution, it is not a sincere promise. The Federalist Society prides itself on ideas. Most of these ideas are based in wealth. The Democrats sort of missed the wealth train when their donors are measured against the Federalists.
The Federalists call themselves “Originalists” because the origin of the USA happened before the presidency of FDR. The Federalists value their ideas over the US Constitution. They use the Constitution as a springboard for their ideas. Basically the are Anti-American, but, they like the wealth and the military. They have no patience for the poor and hide behind the Bible, or at their ideology derived from it.
I think they are dangerous to our country and don’t make good decisions. Of the current Justices four are members of the Federalist Society; Roberts, Alito, Thomas and Gorsuch. With what’s his name, Cavanaugh a nominee it is easy to predict that all Republican choices will be corrupted by Federalist money and agenda. What if a great judge is not from the Federalists? They automatically get passed over.
I believe they are Anti-American and don’t accept sound principles of scientists, public health workers and other standards of US governance. They are cookie cutter judges and that is exactly why the Republicans like them.

Brian Benczkowski, openly admitted to the US Judiciary Committee he represented Alpha Bank with close ties to Vladimir Putin for the job of leading the criminal division of the US Justice Department. This was Trump’s nominee. The US Senate Judiciary Committee was warned by Democrats Benczkowski was affiliated with a bank with close ties to Putin and the Republicans still cleared his way. And Trump meets with Putin on Monday.
Benczkowski worked for Sessions and will be overseeing cases such as the Michael Cohen case. Good ole Brian has no prosecutorial experience and he won’t recuse himself over Russian related matters.
The US Senate Judiciary Committee did this behind the backs of the American people while the Supreme Court nominee had the country’s attention.
The Republicans don’t expect to win elections with this depth of corruption, do they?
The American people need to see the tally of the vote.
Very cute, Brian has been flip-flopping between Trump Organization, the law firm of Kirkland and Ellis and Alfa Bank. In his position of prosecutorial lead he will be able to breech the wall between recused Jeff Sessions and the Mueller Investigation and report all the findings thus far to Trump. If Republicans are lucky enough the Mueller Investgation will close out as a witch hunt before the elections of 2018 and the US will never have conclusions about Russian invasion to the elections. This certainly explains the re-emergence of Rudy Giuliani who knows about this and may have engineered it as well.
Benczkowski is also a member of the Anti-American Federalist Society.

The judge, it would be nice to address him by name, has to realize Mr. Trump who caused the problem of broken migrant families seeking asylum has also cut the budget making it nearly impossible to find relatives and run background checks. The judge may have to subpoena President Trump to court in order to gain cooperation. Today, Trump’s answer to the press about the problems he creates is for parents to enter legally. He refuses to see asylum seekers as a legal status.
The real problem is Congress won’t act to end the current seige of the Oval Office. Trump is not President, he is a dictator and Congress refuses to see the truth for the sake of elections in November. I don’t know when Congress will act before or after we are bombed by Russian missles armed with USA uranium.

By the way, Pence is in lock step with his master.
Trump’s ideology to bring Europe into line with Russia is a dreamscape brought on by Russian vodka in Modcow’s Trump Tower. Europe in recent history has stared down Daesh without sacrificing their values culture of humanitarian values. Europe will never fall into line with any other government. The are waiting for Trump to finally read the memo.
The assault Trump is planning in Syria is in support of removing Shi’ites from their land and handing it to Israel. Syria is largely Shi’a and Iran is Shi’a. That spells genocide. I suggest Russia be careful who they back in such a war.

I will tell you exactly how abortion will be criminalized. It will start out as fines for women that obtained an abortion for valid reasons after 20 weeks. Then the zealots on the right will argue there are still abortions being performed after 20 weeks so stronger measures are needed and jail time will be introduced. Then the intolerance of abortion will grow until abortion is then the death of an American comprised of four cells that multiplied at least once. The idea Roe v. Wade is settled law is rhetoric by the right. They foam at the mouth for heads on a pike to begin. No, I don’t place these zealots much above Daesh.
Good job, Wolf.
One rapist, one murderer, one drug smuggler and three that were not parents of the child. And 48 children reunited with their children over the current time the court has allowed to reunit families with thousands more waiting; according to Secretary of US HHS. And the HHS are providing a caring environment.
Why was one child returned to a parent covered in dirt and hadn’t received a bath probably from the time the US kidnapped him.
Backround checks take how long for guns?
This is interesting. A March 21, 2018 article in “The Trace,” the background checks have many errors and the staff is at risk for burnout is high because the DOJ is grossly understaffed because of background checks. I believe the longest waiting period is four days. So gun / criminal background checks are unpredictable and more and more guns are being bought without background checks.
The article is written by Ann Givens. @ANNTHETRACE
Guns are being sold without background checks because the time limit is running out. People who are not suppose to get a gun are getting guns. Suicides and other wise.
The budget cuts and staffing shortages are one of the reasons the migrant children are not being reunited with their parents. Trump doesn’t care about court deadlines or gun background checks. Basically, Trump only cares about money and cutting government costs to the bone and then some. Donald Trump needs to fully fund the staffing at the DOJ to carry out background on gun purchases and expedite the background checks to reunite families.
Thank you, Ann Givens for your vigilance to the status of gun background checks. At least someone is paying attention.

There is a lot to read written by what’s his name.
Let’s start with the fact the Federalist Society is Anti-American. The organization wants to change the USA Constitution. Anyone affiliated with the Federalist Society can’t be taken seriously for a judgeship at any level, but, especially the Supreme Court. The is no honor in an organization that doesn’t embrace the US Constitution. No major university would seek to change the US Constitution.
So, since what’s his name has been so prolific in his writings it will take some time to formulate an opinion. But, I can say this; he isn’t very worldly is he. He should travel a little bit, to places like Appalachia, a few American ghettos, droughted areas of the world where American grain is direly needed and a few countries such as Bangladesh and allies such as India. I think this guy is a little shorr sighted about America and the vast role it plays in the world.

The problem with Bears Ears and the Grand Stairway Escalante is that Russia has purchased a uranium company by the name of “Uranium One” through the Russian national nuclear company, “Rosatom.” Uranium One was originality owned by a Canadian interest. Trump opens up Utah to mining and now he is going to visit Vladimir Putin. Uranium One owns mining rights to ore in the USA.
It doesn’t get more corrupt than this; to have a USA president meeting with a sanctioned leader after opening uranium mining that Russia could have access to. What is going on, because, it sure isn’t national security.
Trump pretends his presidential order is an attack against environmentalists and past Democratic presidents to satisfy his base when in actuality he is stroking Putin’s good side for personal reasons. Donald Trump has no interest in USA national security.
NATO needs to catch up on paying their two percent into the budget and they will be FINE. The US Congress needs to listen to USA generals and increase spending for NATO of which Trump opposes. NATO has grown in membership in the past decade, it is time to increase spending and secure Europe which has experienced an uptick in terrorism in the past couple years.
Every interaction Trump has with Putin or any other Russian entity needs to be scrutinized and should be transparent.
To illustrate further the Trump corruption existing with Asia; his daughter Ivanka, has an $80 Billion (that is billion with a B) jewelry line made in China. It is imported to the USA without tariffs. When Trump complains about the USA trade deficit with China his daughter is among that deficit.
I find it interesting Ivanka uses cheap Chinese labor and her jewelry line is not stamped with a “Made in the USA” logo. She works as an advisor to the President. It is a violation of the Emoluments Clause and Congress does nothing to uphold the dignity of the US Constitution or national security.
A Congress is suppose to be a strong arm of the Constitution to protect the country. Instead, McConnell and Ryan speak rhetoric to the electorate and hope Trump isn’t compromising the USA in any serious way. I think opening up uranium mining to a Russian company is compromising the USA. Seriously compromising the USA. Republican politics when they hold the majority in Congress opens the USA and it’s allies to a great deal of danger, yet alone corruption.

How many Americans and Canadians for that matter know what the Grand Staicase - Escalante is?
It is a national monument dedicated in 1996 by President Bill Clinton. It is the largest monument with the Bueau of Land Management. It is currently 1,003,863 acres. Before Trimp carved out land for mining uranium it was comprised of 1,880,461 acres.
The Grand Staircase Escalante is the most remote national monument. With clean rivers currently it still hosted 878,000 visitors in 2014. Those rivers will once again return to a polluted status and the fish will no longer be safe to eat. The tourist trade is one of the largest part of the economy of the area. This does not include the damage that will be done to the Bears Ears National Monument where uranium mining is also slated to begin. The uranium mining will reduce the National Momumentsbin the area by 85%. This move by Trump is again racist as the land is populated by primarily the Navajo.
Mr. Trump stated the land was being returned to the people which all federal representatives for Utah cheered. For decades those that represent Utah complained about large swaths of land marked as federal territory. Their current enthusiasm is all the more suspicious and requires investigation. I could understand their enthusiasm if returning the land to “the people” were going to be a windfall of income to Utah or the local economy, but, it isn’t and most probably will cost Utah and the federal government considerable amount of money in pollution clean-up and healthcare costs of the Navajo. But, that isn’t the most curious part, the company mining the area is out of Vancouver, Canada; “Glacial Lake Resources, Inc.” Glacial Lake is expecting to be mining cobalt as well.
Without notice or public meetings the Fat Man in the White wrote an order that changed the course of 50 years of environmental clean up and rebuilding a viable tourist industry. Additionally, these are sacred lands to the Navajo. They are not sacred Christian lands so anything goes. Although I have to admit if there was gold under Arlington National Cemetery, Trump would be writing an order to cremate remains and start digging.
Even more interesting is the replacement currently for Scott Pruitt is Andrew Wheeler, Deputy administers to Pruitt. He worked for FargraBD Condulting and Faegra Baker Daniels before going to the EPA. This law firm represents lobbyists and the their companies which are some of the biggest mining firms of URANIUM and coal such as Murray Energy.
There is something wrong here. Lobbyists are literally walking into the White House and receiving passes on public hearings and standard regulations for safety and public well being by Presidental orders. Trump is removing government and the public from any procedures and dictating outcomes favorable to Wall Street and companies held by private concerns such as the Kochs.
The Fat Man in the White House is abusing the power of the presidency. When he removed the National Monument status of these lands in Utah it made these lands open to government processes which means there are auctions for permits for known commodities. Glacial Lake was handed rights to mines as if they discovered them, they didn’t and the people of Utah won’t receive a dime nor will the federal government from these mining ventures. This is extreme corruption and no one is holding Trump responsible for handing out USA land like Christmas gifts.
It needs to be investigated as does all the rapidly disappearing government processes to protect clean air and water and human health as well as vital conservation of public lands.

Any judge that Trump chooses will overturn Roe v. Wade by his own admission. Where this gets dangerous is:
- women will seek out illegal abortion clinics

1. Expense
a. Cost of actual travel
b. Passport
2. May or may not be covered by insurance which may balance out travel costs
3. Health risks depending on quality of clinic
B. Less likely in the USA where the provider would face ethical and legal consequences
1. Health risks depending on quality of clinic
2. Travel expense is likely
3. Mr. Trump has already stated there would have to be some sort of punishment for women
that receive an abortion
a. Fines
b. Jail or prison
c. Death sentence
d. Any combination of above three
e. Punishment may or may not be the same for the clinic doctor performing the abortion
C. No consequence for abortion
a. Upholds separation of church and state
b. Maintains professional standard
We will see who the choice is. Of those spoken of by the media, all are hostile toward women. Barrett also has taken an odd tilt in conducting research on how Congress interprets the Constitution. I find that strange and almost a strategy against Congress. Why is it necessary to understand the Legislative Branch that intently except to undermine the Legislative Branch’s authority. The Legislative Branch is the will of the people. It is the more powerful of the three branches.
She has more experience in education than the bench. She is known as a mentor when she was a professor and was popular with students in that role. She also was unable to balance her roles as a professor and alienated colleagues because she was not available to them so much as her students. She won’ t have that exposure to students as a Justice except for clerks. She definitely took her own path as a professional. It allowed her the independence to be different than other peers and used that difference to carve out a reputation pleasing to hard core right wing politicians.
In realizing she doesn’t balance her responsibilities well there is every expectation that she won’t discern the differences of church and state. I think she is a right wing extremist intent on leveraging her religious belief over her responsibilities to the US Constitution. The US Constitution allows freedom of religion, not the demand to move the democracy into a theocracy. Her religious leanings and analysis of Congress reveals her personal ambitions and not the constitutional freedoms afforded all Americans.
She has no right to place a fetus in higher priority than the life of a woman. I think she will endanger women ‘s lives due to her inability to separate judicial power from her religious beliefs. Alito tends to have the same problem. The First Amendment allows INDIVIDUAL freedoms. That freedom cannot be carried into the court to enforce religious standards over law.
Judge Barrett cannot singularly elevate a fetus to citizen and an abortion punishable by death of the woman and physician. Those punishments are leveled on the soul and not the physical human being. Those decisions are made by the woman, her spiritual advisor and the physician. This is not kindergarten where a woman needs a note from her doctor and rabbi, priest or Imam. The court has no right to leverage religion over law including the freedoms of the first amendment.

ICE
There is a greater task at hand than destroying the immigration unit known as ICE. The issue at hand involves where to draw the line on human rights abuses, the Geneva Conventions and USA law enforcement. ICE just happened to be the place where the human rights abuses began with this President.
President Donald Trump is abusing his power for the sake of his politics and wealth. He actually thought he could simply use the power of the Presidency to do any darn thing he wants to do. He does not accept the limits of his power and now he is using his power to intimidate countries. We have a problem to be solved and it should be solved permanently. ICE never realized that they were committing human rights abuses and that is dangerous. ICE’S mission needs to be prioritized and that means working to assist the FBI in ending those that come to our borders with drugs and crime.
It has been very difficult to realize our law enforcement was committing human rights violations at the order of the President, but, they did so out of complete ignorance. This can never happen again by ICE, the Border Patrol or any other law enforcement.
The Congress wrote The War Powers Act to stem abuse of power; there needs to be clear standards set down in legislation with a veto proof majority in Congress to end any such abuse of power again.
The unthinkable happened and it is up to Congress to permanently end any possibility of this occurring again. Ending ICE may be part of that legislation, but, there is a bigger picture. This time it was ICE, what next the Border Patrol? The local police? Sheriff?
We have to permanently solve the problem of any potential to commit human rights abuses within the USA and use of any international policy to be used for intimidation or human rights violations. Policies of benevolence cannot be turned against a country in retribution for other purposes such as this vote at this international forum to benefit human health. What is occurring with the powers within the Executive Branch is unthinkable and yet it is happening. This is not a Constitutional Crisis, it is a crisis brought on by abuse of power. There is a difference.

I plan to return to Sunday Night postings within two weeks.
A magnificent rescue of 12 boys and their coach is proceeding. It is an incredible story of humanitarian efforts and heroic leadership. Sincerest sympathies for the loss of one of the heroic divers.
I hope the government of Thailand will consider closing the cave permanently once the rescues are complete. Rains are no longer predictable with a changing climate. Such caves may be too dangerous even for experienced explorers and scientists.
In a poor example of humanitarian interest, at the Geneva meeting of the UN World Health Assembly the United States of America has taken a protectionist view of commercial baby formula. Decades of research has proven mother’s milk to be superior to commercial substitutes, yet the USA cannot find the will to endorse the research. The resolution was met with open threats of trade sanctions and withdrawal of military support, basically blackmail and retribution.
The global community needs to begin to prioritize scientific fact and what is best for the health and well being of people over detrimental posturing by the USA. This posturing in placing monetary commercial interests before quality of life can be seen in the policies of climate change as well. This posturing is becoming very troubling and I fear permanent. If the USA can’t endorse mother’s milk as superior to commercial substitutes for the sake of Wall Street profits then the country has lost it’s moral compass. In realizing that infants are more a commodity to the leadership of the USA than needing the highest forms of moral protection there is little reason to regard the USA as a moral leader. Until the USA has demonstrated a return to moral leadership the global community is obligated to scrutinize every policy it puts forward.
The USA leadership touts it’s Christian values as entitlement to global leadership, however, those values are a false front for placing wealth of a few before quality of life of many.
