There needs to be a reporting of such arrests to local law enforcement. There has to an accounting of human beings to someone. If not local law enforcement then ACLU with a stipends paid by ICE to maintain contact. It is vital to have a third party involved because we already know people are detained without due process. That is a fact.
DHS needs to be held responsible for such gaps in accountability. If human beings are being arrested and processed without due process, that is a criminal act. Ask any local law enforcement if they would get away without carrying out due process. ICE should not be getting away with it either.
