Those Silver, Gold and Platinum folks are getting to be to much for Delta. Delta is probably running out of first class seats. So, the executives figured out a way to sell more seats per jet and they even milk $300 or so from the elite passenger. Amazing.
Only in America can a person be a platinum customer and have to still pay $300 for a flight seat.

Soon, Delta (click here) will allow its most elite passengers to drop another few hundred dollars and upgrade their commercial flight reservations to a seat on a private jet.
According to Bloomberg Business, the option of paying an additional $300 to $800 to upgrade to a seat on a private jet will be available to the air carrier's most valuable "Diamond Medallion" members....
