ATLANTA -- Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal(click here) took responsibility Thursday for the poor storm preparations that led to an epic traffic jam in Atlanta and forced drivers to abandon their cars or sleep in them overnight when a storm dumped a couple of inches of snow....
Fine. That doesn't change the hardship on the people and there are families surrounded by grief tonight because they lost members in a traffic jam. Those families need to be compensated for their losses. The people that died were bread winners in those families. They were mothers and fathers that provided valuable time with their families. The State of Georgia needs to do more than apologize, they need to recognize these families were their responsibility and they failed them.
