There is no reason for any American not to speak the language of the Climate Crisis. It is there to be understood without discrimination by every culture in the USA.
There is also a clear understanding Earth has limits. Human beings cannot not go forward believing they are 'entitled' to no limits. Human are not 'entitled' to greed at the cost of other's demise and the cost of the biotic content of the world.
The USA is defined by it's benevolence. Or, should I say it was defined by it's benevolence. That benevolence was to be throughout the content of the USA. It's economy, it's military, it's policies, it's laws and it's people.
The Climate Crisis is not an us and them issue. It is not a politically correct issue, it is however about being CORRECT. It is believing the best of our scientific community acts with precision, esteem and importance to the reality we are facing. It is putting scientific finding ahead of economic greed. It is about protecting the future for our children and passing along a promise of a better life than we had.
I am not saying everyone has to believe in a god of the Abrahamic teachings. What I am saying is there are no more excuses. We act as a nation and not a house divided against itself.
We act as a nation, accept the facts before us, make policy that is correct and not exploitative, lead and provide example and participate in global communities to bring USA policy to the forefront of benevolence.
The USA has taken a false path leading it to controversy rather than leadership. It is a path of greed at any cost and it has to end. We need the leadership of 'our times' to bring about the respect our country deserves and that most of the people want.
