This is no small thing. When large carnivores, keystone species abandon their patterns of survival because their instincts are confused...


... it can destroy an entire ecosystem and food web/chain. This is huge. Without time to adapt major shifts in ecosystems can abruptly occur demising biological systems that have sustained Earth and human existence for millenia. I'm sorry, but, this is no minor issue that will simply go away and accepted as "Gee, whiz, the ice fields are all gone now." That is a huge misconception of anyone who believes the quality of their lives will be sustained due to manmade environments. No one wishes all these problems would go away more than me, but, they won't.
