July 23, 2005. Zajecar, Serbia. The doors to an Imperial Roman Palace from the III and IV centuries were opened to view the mosaics. These mosaics are normally protected by sand as can be seen in this picture. The sand is swept away for viewing and archeological investigation. This floor was the Hall of the Throne.
