So let me get this correct. The Late Senator Lindsey Graham and probably Senator Mitch McConnell with others like Senator Tom Tillis provide sales to Ukraine as it is in a war with Russia. Senator Lindsey Graham dies and his sister steps in for him. A bill with Russian sanctions is passed in the US Senate in the late senator's name, Trump signs the bill recognizing the fact Senator Darline Graham was voting for the bill and anticipating the president signing it and implementing the provisions.
At the same time the USA is preparing to harvest Venezuelan oil.

NABEP (click here) is deploying 11 workover rigs and two drilling rigs to accelerate Venezuela's oil production recovery.
Production has surged to 200,000 bpd, according to NABEP, with independent Rystad Energy estimates supporting the latest output figure.
NABEP targets over 1 million bpd, with a proposed $100 billion investment program aimed at reviving Venezuela's vast oil reserves....
And now Trump in recognition of the attacks by Russia on Ukraine and Ukraine's employment of the USA technology has backed out of serving the USA national security issue and instead came up with a bogus oil trade for sanction relief with Russia.
There is a lot wrong with this picture and Ukraine should be moving in court to end the lavish premission of Trump to allow Russia it's own way without engaging the sanctions passed by the USA legislature.

Donald Trump blocked numerous sanctions (click here) on Russia two days before they were due to take effect, as a row with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky deepens.
The sanctions were passed by the Congress and signed into law the president in September.
But Trump issued an executive order Friday night saying that suspending some was in the US national interest, prompting a backlash from US lawmakers. Zelensky said it was unfortunate the US has decided to "completely disregard" the sanctions.
Relations between Washington and Kyiv frayed after the US struck a controversial deal to import Russian diesel last week. Ukraine has accused the Trump administration of withdrawing key military support.
Trump and Zelensky have exchanged sharp words about one another. Ukraine's president declared it was nice to be among "real leaders" while addressing an EU summit, after Trump said Zelensky was "more difficult to deal with" than Russian President Vladimir Putin.
