Iran feels trapped. That is probably what is intended. Its economy is failing and the idea they can negotiate with extremists in power in the USA and Israel is becoming clear that any negotiations is a lie on the part of the opposition to a sovereign Iran.
I find the fact the USA has left Iraq more than curious. Hegseth is pulling out all the stops before the Midterm elections to escalate the war into anticipated combat after the elections. A permanent automatic registration for the draft in the USA starts in December.
Trump and Hegseth are banking on a war theater would be irreversible no matter what happens in November with the elections. I don't see that as a hurdle. If an ILLEGAL war is started by Trump and Hegseth the idea of ending it is obvious and not an estimation of any kind. The new Congress will end any war powers involved in this insane unprovoked aggression. Oh, Hegseth is pulling 200 USA troops out of Nigeria.
Europe is making headway into African alliances. Italy is becoming absolutely amazing in it's ability to ally with Egypt and recently Libya. The military strength of other nations is growing in the face of an erratic and provoking USA president and Secretary of Defense. No country worth it's sovereignty is taking anything for granted from the USA anymore. That is truly unfortunate.
