The Trump Arch is about manipulating the public to honor returning soldiers from war.

The Brandenburg Gate was commissioned by King Frederick William II of Prussia, the sandstone structure was built between 1788 and 1791 by royal architect Carl Gotthard Langhans. Langhans modeled the structure after the Propylaea—the monumental gateway to the Acropolis in Athens.

The World War I Homecoming (1918): Following the end of World War I, nine German military divisions marched through the gate on December 10, 1918. They were greeted by Friedrich Ebert, the head of the provisional government, who famously praised the returning troops as being "unconquered in the field of battle". The event took on the grand atmosphere of a victory celebration, even though Germany had just lost the war.

The East African Troops (1919): In March 1919, General Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck led his undefeated Schutztruppe (colonial troops from the East African theater) on a massive victory parade through the gate, which had been heavily decorated in their honor.

Prussian Victories (1814): After the defeat of Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo, Prussian troops reclaimed the monument's stolen Quadriga statue and marched through the gate in a massive celebration of liberation

It is all very clever. Placing an arch in honor of soldiers returning from war is a huge attempt to rebrand the USA as a waring nation from that of a defensive nation. These monuments are supposed to be commissioned by Congress. This is more of Trump's Truth Social ego trip. How many of those that subscribe to Truth Social will lose sons and daughters to Trump's holy wars?
