Sea level rise and full Moon.

The northeastern inundation is due to the climate crisis. When I look at the visuals about the northeast I see an ocean that has risen without retreat. The ocean is high and well over its usual height. The coastal erosion is nothing like I have ever seen before. The barrier island communities are isolated. The only option is air or ship evacuation. The Coast Guard is their emergency responders. 

What is it going to take for human beings to welcome the knowledge and wisdom that has been lectured at governments for decades about the climate crisis? This isn’t going away.

The ocean is claiming the land. Waves are washing in and bouncing off landfall. The tide then rolls back toward open ocean without resolving its energy. The incoming tide rides over top of the retreating wave. The ocean is literally sloshing back and forth without resolving the energy in the waves. 

My understanding is the storm will stall. That means the northeast will be receiving not only enormous wave and water heights but unresolved energy in those waves. Days of high energy water results in a lot of damage.
