The United States Supreme Court has made some really lousy decisions including the most recent assaulting independent agencies that keep a check on racketeering like the one practiced by Trump.
Clarence was over at the House a week or so ago. It was a visit to discuss the politics, although, when the reporter asked what the conversation was about he clearly stated he wasn’t about to disclose the conversation especially to a competent journalist.
It is a really lousy court Roberts conducts. They have taken privacy and checks and balances to the bare bones and now they want protection so they can continue to make really lousy decisions that have taken American rights to privacy, along with the Tech Industry, away and removed protections for our constitution.
I think instead of passing additional protection monies Congress should pass legislation that limits their term at the Supreme Court. I think that would give Americans hope their freedoms would be returned to them.
I mean. Protections? Maybe Coney-Barrett’s cult could pay for it since it is they getting what they want from her, not the American people. What is occurring with the high court is political preference, not governance.
Stare decisis is dead and they call that good practice?
I don’t care who you are or what capacity you hold in this democracy but if the power of the USA is turned against the people and their best interests things aren’t going to go well.
