There really is nothing to those five words. The five words simply conveys the right of the United States of America to have legal authority over a child born within its sovereign borders. That is all that is. But, typical of Alito he looks for every angle he can manipulate to redefine the INTENT of the law. Kavanaugh is sort of the same way. At least his writings leading to his nomination had that enticement.
So, for racists like Trump who is looking to keep white skin enshrined as “the masters” of the citizens of the USA a lawsuit is brought and some of the justices (Alito, Kavanaugh, Thomas) are game for the challenge to find meaning behind the precedent (wrongly decided).
Trump is insulting the USA Constitution and it’s Amendments (approximately 12 generations of Americans) with his political shenanigans.
